Staying here was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk proactively upgraded our room to a more spacious one with a scenic view. The service was incredibly attentive, and they patiently guided us throughout our stay. It's only a 5-minute walk to the mall, and the subway station is nearby, making dining, shopping, and getting around super convenient. The value for money is exceptional, I genuinely recommend it!

I recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable. Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Improvement

The hotel has a great location with convenient transportation. This time, we stayed on a high floor, and the view was absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire city. It was a really good experience for us.

整個賓館豪華氣派，品味非凡，硬件精良，是正定區最貴的酒店。可是忍不住還是想吐個糟：1、房間及樓道𥦬户都鎖上了，不透氣，雖然服務員説已開業四年，但住進去還是會感覺憋悶。空調也開不了，服務員大姐挺好，也來幫忙，還是不行，最後把房間窗户開了鎖並打開，又給配了一台風扇吹，空氣才流通些。可問題是晩上開窗大貨車經過時聲音很大，關上窗又悶熱，簡直無法入睡。2、如此高大上的酒店，早餐咖啡機卻沒配咖啡杯，服務員讓我用柱狀杯喝，咖啡味道就不説了。3、酒店沒有任何提示説準備的簡易拖鞋需要付費，按照我們走南闖北的慣性，帶走了路上換腳。結果車到半路接到賓館電話説要付費，一雙25元，我去！反正下次再也不會住了。

I really liked the accommodation; it had a charming, antique feel and was located within the ancient town of Shanhaiguan Scenic Area. After checking in, it was very convenient to explore the town's night view. The front desk staff were very welcoming and had excellent service. There was free parking. There was also a tea table in the room with complimentary tea and coffee. After an evening stroll, it was nice to buy some snacks and chat. Those who enjoy tea can bring their own. The bedding was clean and hygienic, clearly changed after each guest – very professional. After exploring the ancient town, I found this to be the largest guesthouse I've encountered. The price was incredibly reasonable.

It's really good. In fact, its service has surpassed the price. The hotel is super big, the room is also big and clean, with a bathtub, the breakfast has a lot of variety, and the environment is particularly good. What I like most is the service, opening the car door, taking the luggage and delivering things, and the housekeeper added me to solve problems at any time.

Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.

I originally booked an executive room, but upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and easy. While we waited for our room to be cleaned, they proactively offered us drinks and even delivered welcome fruit to our room. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Although a few areas showed a bit of age, overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel also offers free parking. Right downstairs from the hotel are Dazhao Park and the Anti-seismic Memorial Hall (currently closed for renovation), making them convenient to visit. It's about a 15-minute drive from the hotel to Tangshan Feast and Nanhu Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant offers all-day dining, and the breakfast selection is extensive. The executive lounge has been moved to the first floor, providing happy hour drinks and fruit in the afternoon, and a light dinner in the evening. The light dinner was surprisingly good! 👍 It included six hot dishes, with noodles, wontons, and rice as main courses, along with several cold dishes and various alcoholic beverages. The only downside was a layer of dust on the headboard in the room, which was a bit off-putting. I hope they can improve their hygiene management.

I didn’t book a room before because I learned that there is no bed fence, which makes it difficult for small children to sleep safely. The lack of bed fence is a flaw. Later, in the past month, I visited Xiongan Xinma Park over the weekend and planned to stay one night. Later I contacted the hotel. Looking at the recent hotel reviews, I found that there was a bed fence, but reservations were not accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. I quickly booked the hotel for 11.2-11.3 When we checked in, we caught up with the Beijing-Xiongong Expressway closure on 11.2am in Beijing. We hurried over as soon as the expressway was unblocked. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that the bed railings had been installed for help. I liked this very much. 2. The park is very large, and the suite we booked included the Swan Castle. I took my children to play the next day. It felt good. It was enough for smaller babies to play. I would like to make a suggestion: there is a small exposed hole in the trampoline area. It is recommended to fill it; 3. The shuttle bus in the park is very convenient, and the garden landscape Very good, clean environment. I especially recommend the swings and camping area on the big lawn. The children had a great time playing. 4. Because the indoor temperature was too high at night, I contacted the front desk to solve the problem. The housekeeping department and the engineering department responded quickly (although it was not solved in the end) Question); let’s talk about the flaws below. 1. The front desk said that there are only 6 bed rails in the entire hotel. It claims that it is not a family hotel, so it does not have many facilities. I think so. After we went there once, I think the hotel should still care about the family travel experience. Bed rails are not expensive, and hotels of this level are not cheap anymore. It is recommended to equip more bed rails to make it more convenient for families with children (the appropriate charge is acceptable); 2. The biggest problem: the hotel's air conditioner is too hot during the transition season! ! We open the windows during the day and at night but it doesn’t work! I asked for an electric fan later! The engineering department and the housekeeping department said that it was very cold that night in the VIP building or some other building, so the air conditioner was turned on. I don't think this is the reason. Each room has an independent control panel, but the control panel does not work? Is it a design problem or does the staff not know how to operate it? Later, the maintenance department communicated and turned on the chiller for cooling, but it still didn't work at 12 o'clock at night! It took a long time to repair the door. At 12 o'clock at night, the child was very sleepy. In the end, he had to ask for an electric fan and open the window! Oh, by the way, in the suite we booked, the curtains in both rooms could not be lowered and were stuck... The engineering department repaired the curtains ➕ Thinking about the air conditioner... In the end, the child wore a diaper while sleeping and still sweated. It is too exaggerated. I really hope Hotels can solve this big problem! If there is no air conditioning problem, I think this hotel can be rated 100 points, but if the air conditioning problem is not solved, I will not go there again (the engineering department and housekeeping department staff are very competent, thank you to the staff who came to help solve the problem that night! Upon entering the lobby, staff immediately greeted me with a smile, proactively took my luggage, handling it gently yet securely—every detail showcasing their professionalism and thoughtfulness. During check-in, the front desk agent was incredibly efficient, making the whole process quick and convenient without any waiting. She even thoughtfully offered a warm cup of longan, red date, and goji berry tea, a warmth that spread from my fingertips to my heart. What was even more surprising was her proactive upgrade of my room—this unexpected gesture of care really touched me! My upgraded room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. The layout was wide and comfortable, and every corner was spotlessly clean and well-organized, instantly making me forget the fatigue of my journey. Shortly after checking in, housekeeping thoughtfully delivered fresh fruit, a rich variety that was juicy and fresh. This meticulous attention to detail truly made me feel the warmth and comfort of home. It was a perfect experience from start to finish, with service details meticulously handled and full of sincerity! This is definitely a five-star service hotel worth revisiting countless times, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who seeks quality in their travels.
