We have a lovely stay at Kailaixi hotel. Everything is perfect. Perfect location, super friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast and clean room. We can’t ask more. Thank you to the staff who cleaned our room - she or he did amazing job! Thank you to the canteen ladies( staff 066,007 and a lot of them I can’t remember the number). They are so nice and friendly. Thank you!

From the warm Shenzhen to the cold Wuhan, I was warmed by the warm white fungus soup at night. Overall, it was good, except for a sudden leak in the kitchen, but someone came to deal with it quickly after reporting it. Furthermore, the faucet in the bathroom was loose, making it inconvenient to use.

The new hotel that will only open in 2023 is indeed very top-notch in terms of hardware. I chose it for a long time before coming to Wuhan. I still feel that this newly opened Marriott is centrally located and convenient for travel, and the high-altitude room types will also have better views; in terms of supporting facilities: 1. The service in the lounge is good, they will proactively ask for your needs, and the lunch and dinner are great; 2. The gym is a little inferior, you need to transfer to the elevator, and there is no highlight in the scenery; 3. The breakfast in the all-day restaurant is very delicious, especially It’s hot dry noodles, which is a surprise

The location really is the hotel’s best feature. It is situated right by the river, and the there is a nice street market no more than 100 meters away. The lively Jianghan street is also somewhat close. The rooms are clean and staff is pleasant as well. They did call me several times after I checked out asking for a five-star review, which I do not appreciate. Otherwise no complaints!

This is a little bit harsh in the hotel, but had paid extra for the executive sweet, only to be told after I checked in that all the facilities were closed. I don't live very far from this hotel, but was hoping to enjoy the spa and the executive lounge after a football tournament close by. All the facilities, spa, swimming pool, gym, sauna were all closed. Even the executive lounge was off limits. This was not mentioned when booking and I was unable to get any refund. It's a lovely hotel, but they really struggle to clarify if anything is actually operational post covid.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The location is very convenient for traveling, they have a free pick up to Wuhan train station. In few minutes by Didi you can easily arrive at the center of Wuchang which is plenty of restaurants and family attractions. The service is very polite and the staff very friendly, they kindly helped me with some small issues. The room is clean and nice and there is a robot delivering goods at the room. The manager before leaving gave us a small gift which was really appreciated during the trip back home. The price is affordable and for sure I will consider this hotel again for my trips to Wuhan. I strongly recommended it.

We were upgraded in bigger rooms. the beds are large and comfy, the breakfrast is good although i don't recommend the orange juice. They have many different options for the breakfast toasts, cereals, eggs, sausages., bacon, rice, noodles, fruit and even salad. i enjoyed the corn bread. The rooms had a tea corner which was very cute and are modern. The shower gel and shampoo smelled.really good (from.essential oil). the corridors smelled.good with comfy carpet. A great find in Yichang ! if you have time, i recommend crossing the bridge and hiking in the park accross the hotel for wonderful views of the yangtze river.

Excellent hotel in a great location on the banks of the Yangtze River and a walk a way from the Wanda shopping centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful . There is a great variety of food for the breakfast buffet . The room is extremely clean and well fitted and has a great view form the 38the floor . Highly recommended . First of all, thank you Xiao Li for your warm hospitality and arrangements. The hotel is very grand. It is located on the bank of the Yangtze River and close to Wanda Plaza. It is very convenient and the night view is very beautiful. The breakfast is rich in variety and very filling. There are also many restaurants around, as well as a Wal-Mart, which is very convenient. The gym faces the Yangtze River, and you can see the beautiful sunset in the evening. The only regret is that there are too few equipments available in the gym.

fabulous large room with a great view, very comfortable bed and pillows and exquisite bedding.  location. Excellent with local shops and restaurants and tube station three minutes walk away. wi-Fi was fast and consistent in the room, which I have found a problem at other Chinese hotels I am a solo traveller and the staff went out of their way to take care of me . They organised a superb driver for me to do some private tourist activities ( the waterfalls were out of this world and not so crowded, which I really appreciated). The bathroom is particularly nice with a really big shower and a bath tub plus lovely fluffy towels.  breakfasts were really good with a wide selection of healthy and also more typical offerings and unusual for China. One of the most satisfying hotels I have lived in in recent years. First of all, the location is perfect. It is a 5-minute walk from the Three Gorges Visitor Center. Next to it is Wanda and Snack Street. It is convenient for travel, eating and drinking. You can see the Yangtze River in the building. You can walk along the river next to the hotel at night. The scenery is beautiful. The hotel facilities are relatively new, clean and tidy. You can take bottled water, sour plum juice, tea and other drinks by yourself, and you can also help heat food. The breakfast is rich and delicious (a small suggestion, if conditions permit, add some premature snacks with local characteristics, such as hot dry noodles, rice wine, bean curd, etc.). The service is very considerate. When the waiter was cleaning the room, he saw that our laundry was hanging in the bathroom shower room, and brought us a drying rack to help us hang it in front of the window. There was a problem with the color of the TV screen in the room, so we exchanged it for a good TV. Free children's slippers, toothbrushes, snacks, drinks, and fruits.

Even though Yichang is not very famous city in China, it has a lot to offer. Very long walking area next to Yangtze River, flavors food, cultural diversity are only some of the things you might be able to experience when coming here. However, that is not all. When we arrived to the hotel we were warmly greeted by Xue Liya who was kind enough to offer us an upgrade to a better room and free breakfast for two days. Check-in was fast and they didn’t even let us to carry our own luggage. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. We got a river view and a balcony to enjoy it. Any questions that we had or any help we needed, Alice would step in and be at our service. Breakfast was really good; combination of Chinese and western food at its best. Everyone would be able to find something he/she likes. The only regret I have is, not staying a bit longer. Everything else was extremely satisfying.

The reception desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Our suite was comfortable and our request for a utensil was met promptly. Breakfast was good. We had a most pleasant stay and we will come back to this hotel when we visit Yichang again.

Pros: comfortable bed, good location, good air cond probably Cons: i am sorry, what a filthy dirty hotel, from people smoking in the lobby, to the filthy lobby, full of cigarette smell, carpets coming off the floor, floor not vacuumed, lobby and room. My room smelt so bad with cigarette smell I was coughing all night! Couldn’t wait to get out the filthy place! Not sure where all the positive reviews comes from, room was cheap but you expect a clean room at least!
