This stay was very bad. Very bad. We were arranged to stay in the north. The north side faces the street. The cars passing by at 4 o'clock in the morning, especially the cement tankers, were very loud. It was impossible to fall asleep. No matter how good, comfortable, and welcoming the hotel is, it can't stand such noise, especially the window where I stayed was the entrance and exit of the parking lot, and there was an intelligent voice gate that announced the vehicle number in and out, which was very loud. The experience was very bad, and I would like to remind you. If you stay in this hotel, don't stay on the north side of the hotel.

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure.

The hotel is very good, the ceiling is very high, I haven't had a good sleep for a long time, it's very quiet, the scenery outside is super good, the hotel is a big building, and the swimming pool is also very good! Everything is good, but it is recommended that the hotel can write a small description of the hotel facilities and restaurants and various services in a more obvious place in the room, such as the breakfast time, the swimming pool location opening hours, so that we don't have to call the front desk all the time.

The hotel service is warm and friendly, the hygiene is clean and tidy, and the rooms are cozy and spacious. The hotel's location is excellent, and the housekeeping staff are also very kind. The front desk ladies are very enthusiastic, and the room prices are very reasonable, offering great value for money! I've had more than just comfortable and pleasant stays here; it's also given me a taste of local life, which is my overall impression of this hotel. However, I do have two small suggestions: 1. There's really only one power outlet and one USB port by the bed, which isn't very convenient for phone users. 2. The air conditioning's heating effect isn't particularly good. I tried all three fan speeds, and it still wasn't very effective (it's also possible my friend and I just didn't know how to operate it, and by then it was too late to call staff to check).

A ginormous hotel with spectacular Mountain View’s, but not so many guests so felt like a ghost town. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the Huashan scenic area booking office, and a handful of restaurants, couple of coffee shops and massage salon. The main reason for this location is hiking and enjoying the amazing hot springs. There isn’t anything else nearby for those who are not interested in those two activities! Lots of hot spring pools, and a large swimming pool, which you access via the shuttle car, this runs every couple of minutes so super convenient. Room is very large, so is bathroom. Breakfast is sufficient, restaurant for dinner closes at 21:00 and didn’t try. Overall a lovely hotel stay.

This hotel is very close to the subway station, which is a lifesaver when it's hard to get a taxi near popular attractions due to crowds, or during area lockdowns. There's also a commercial district nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel environment is excellent. Everyone from the doormen and front desk staff to the housekeeping and guest relations teams is warm and welcoming, providing great service. Manager Chloe even sent a welcome fruit platter and arranged for a late check-out. The heating in the room was very strong, so there's no need to worry about the cold in winter. The swimming pool water temperature was also perfect. The only suggestion I have is that while there was a drink menu in the room with very reasonable prices, when I tried to order drinks late at night from room service or the front desk, it seemed the hotel didn't have any in stock.

This hotel is really recommended! The room is very clean and hygienic. Even the corners of the corners that are easy to ignore are cleaned in place. There is no unclean place at all, and it is especially safe to live. The bedding is also clean and comfortable, and it is very comfortable to sleep. The service is nothing to say, the staff is very good, the demand response is fast and patient, the overall stay experience is superb, I will choose this next time!

This was our first time visiting Xi'an, and we chose this homestay. Our entire family was absolutely delighted. Traveling with children, our top priorities are hygiene and quietness, and this place was not only spotlessly clean but also wonderfully peaceful. The owner was exceptional – easygoing yet thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable about traditional culture, and genuinely kind-hearted. The local recommendations they gave us were perfect for the authentic Xi'an experience we were hoping for. When we bought some local pastries for our friends, the owner was so considerate, kindly helping us store them in the kitchen fridge. In the evenings when we returned, they invited us for tea, chats, storytelling, and even introduced us to the art of incense (xiangdao). In just a few short days, we became good friends. Our child didn't want to leave and strongly insisted on staying a few more days! It was a truly happy and relaxing trip to Xi'an, offering a wonderfully carefree experience. Xi'an, we will definitely be back! And we'll absolutely stay at Guan'erjie again!

XXiaoqiyaWe stayed for two nights, on the 16th and 17th. On the 15th, I received a call from the hotel asking about our room preferences. I requested a room with a good view, non-smoking, and quiet. When we checked in, the staff assigned us room 213. This was the lowest floor I've ever stayed on in a hotel, and it was room number 13! I was surprised that the hotel actually had a room 13! How could an international hotel like this assign room 13 to a foreigner? During afternoon tea that day, besides my husband, myself, and an Asian mother and daughter, all the other guests were foreigners. This made me realize even more why I was so unlucky to get room 13! This hotel has such a unique room number 13, and they treat their own compatriots differently from foreigners! However, the smart toilet in room 13 was broken. It wouldn't automatically lift the lid or flush when you stood in front of it. What was even more unbearable was that as soon as you sat on it, the toilet would make a loud gurgling sound and automatically spray water on your backside. We tried it twice, and it happened both times. Also, the light switch was malfunctioning and didn't work. As a result, our room was changed to room 206. Neither room 13 nor room 06 had a French garden view; you could only see trees outside the window. Room 06 overlooked a concrete platform. I stayed during the off-season, and there were only a handful of guests at both afternoon tea and breakfast. Even during the peak breakfast time at 8 AM, there were only four tables with no more than ten guests. In such an off-season, why couldn't they offer us a higher floor with a better view? The male butler from the hotel called in advance on the 15th to ask about my room preferences; wasn't that just being insincere and fake? The staff's service level was inconsistent. Two female servers at afternoon tea and breakfast simply didn't observe guests' needs. The slim, tall female server in the afternoon tea restaurant had an ice-cold expression and no proactive service awareness. One female server in the breakfast restaurant looked like she hadn't woken up yet, with messy hair, no makeup, and ill-fitting work clothes, completely lacking the demeanor of a star-rated hotel employee. More importantly, this server didn't proactively observe guests' tables. Every time, we had to call her to take away the empty plates. Even more exaggerated, when she took away empty plates, she wouldn't simultaneously take away empty cups, nor would she think to ask. Let's talk about the problems with the breakfast restaurant: First, the flowers on the dining tables were fake! For a 'diamond-level' hotel like this, how can they put fake flowers on the tables? If they want to save costs, there are many ways: place some air plants or soilless succulents, or even small, easy-to-care-for plants. Anything real would be more tasteful than these fake ones. Regardless, a 'diamond-level' hotel should not have fake flowers on its dining tables. This is disrespectful to guests. Second, there was a wide variety of bread, but no chain-type toaster to heat the bread. This is usually a staple at the bread station in five-star hotels. Yet, at this 'super five-star' hotel, you can only eat cold bread for breakfast. Third, the restaurant only provided toothpicks, not dental floss sticks. Nowadays, even very ordinary restaurants offer dental floss sticks. A 'diamond-level' hotel like this should provide guests with dental floss sticks, and ideally, toothpick brushes. Additionally, the steps in the bathrooms of both room 13 and room 06 were damaged. In room 13, the hotel actually used cheap, uneven gray adhesive corner guards, which looked very out of place and clashed with the exquisite French decor. They should have used brass stair nosings! During my two-day stay at the hotel, Ms. Doris Du's kindness, politeness, proactive work attitude, and professional image left a very good impression on me. After we checked in and received our key, she led us to our room. She first gave us a tour of the hotel and introduced its history. On the day we checked out, she happened to be on duty at the front desk. She was the only staff member at the hotel who immediately stood up to greet guests upon seeing them! The only one! This small professional gesture of hers was like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, warming my heart! Recalling my check-in, there was a male and female staff member at the front desk. They did not stand up to greet us when guests checked in. When we received our room cards and got up to leave, they remained seated without moving. This is disrespectful to guests. Staff should stand up to greet guests when they arrive, ask them to sit down, and then sit down themselves to process the check-in. When guests receive their room cards and get up, the staff should also stand up to see them off. Such basic courtesies of polite welcome and farewell were completely lacking! On the day I checked in, I had two items of clothing that needed ironing. The female staff member who was on duty at the front desk that day came to our room to collect them. During the process of opening the door to see her, handing her the clothes, and briefly communicating with her, she maintained an ice-cold demeanor throughout, without a hint of a smile. She was not the only female staff member in this hotel who provided service without a smile. In summary, all these issues, and more, expose the hotel's unprofessional training and inadequate management. Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is not directly affiliated with the Sofitel group; it is part of the People's Grand Building owned by Shaanxi Urban Investment and Operations Group Co., Ltd., and is operated by AccorHotels, a French hotel management group. Therefore, the experience was vastly different from the Sofitel hotels I've stayed at abroad.

GGuest UserExceptional hotel, my new favourite in China. Stunning interior design, excellent service, delicious breakfast provided. The entire feel of the hotel is relaxing and we appreciated the design, particularly the bell tower viewing platform. Although too cold to use in winter, the pool looked amazing. It was unbelievably quiet for being in such a busy area, you can’t hear any external noise. Fantastic for the price, we also received complimentary glass of red wine and whisky each night, which were also great quality. Will be coming back to stay.

MM254340****The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. There's a subway station right outside the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. The floor staff were also very polite and had a great service attitude. The facilities are comprehensive, including free swimming and a gym, plus a laundry room. The East-meets-West buffet breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an.

NNan jing ningWeinan Jianguo Hotel is really nice. If I hadn't been away on business, I would have wanted to stay here for a few more days. The room is decorated in a grand style, with mahogany classical furniture, complete facilities, clean and tidy, and has a superior location. It is very close to the high-speed rail station and Wuyue Plaza, and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. The service attitude is excellent, and welcome fruits are sent in the evening. The service can be said to be super good, whether it is the girls at the front desk, the brothers at the door, or even the sanitation cleaners, they are all equally good, very worthy of praise, and even more worthy of recommendation.

RReenaRieThis hotel is ideal if you're driving, as it's a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station. Its proximity to the Terracotta Army and Huaqing Palace is a huge plus; you can easily visit the Terracotta Warriors first thing in the morning and then catch the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' show in the evening. The hotel itself is massive, so be prepared for a bit of a trek from the lobby to your room each day. Service was excellent and very responsive; they were happy to assist with any request. They even thoughtfully placed a sunshade on our car. Since it was a rental, we didn't get to experience their car wash service. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a very soft mattress, making it easy to fall asleep quickly. My only real gripe would be the breakfast selection, which was quite limited. For instance, the bread station had jam but no butter, and there was no cheese at the cold cuts section. Even though breakfast started at 7 AM, some dishes weren't fully available until past 7:30 AM. This felt a bit below the usual Banyan Tree Group standards.

糊糊狐Huge thanks to the hotel for upgrading us to a suite – it significantly boosted our comfort! The suite's layout was traditional yet very practical. The toilet and bathing areas were separate, and the double vanity sinks were quite spacious, making it incredibly convenient for two people to get ready simultaneously in the morning. Breakfast was very generous. I highly recommend trying the noodles with *saòzi* (minced meat sauce)! I would definitely consider staying here again for my next business trip. It offers excellent value for money!

MmikommyWe booked a Deluxe Room (70 sqm, with an open-plan layout featuring a sofa and bed in one spacious area) and a Family Room (which felt like four rooms in one, starting with a small living room, then the bedroom, followed by a dressing room, and finally the bathroom). The evening spread at the Grand Club Lounge was excellent, with themes changing daily – we enjoyed American and Korean cuisine during our stay. Both rooms were very large and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants just a 500-meter walk away. The Grand Hyatt series definitely offers great value for money!
