This was hands down the best hotel of our Xinjiang trip! The design and decor are absolutely fantastic. It offers incredible value for money! The hotel also provides sand therapy and even has some lovely small animals to visit. It's kept impeccably clean, completely free of any unpleasant odors! The overall hygiene is excellent, and the mattress is super comfortable – neither too soft nor too hard. I woke up feeling completely refreshed the next morning! The breakfast spread was also incredibly rich and varied! The only minor downside was that the projector screen in the room was broken. Turpan is absolutely an underrated gem of a city! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit; it's truly fantastic!

The environment is absolutely fantastic! It's a riverside campsite, and you can tell it's been thoughtfully designed, with clever touches everywhere. We unfortunately spent too much time at the attractions and arrived quite late. The campsite offers a bonfire, BBQ, and Uighur girls dancing. On the way to the river, there's also a splash pad for kids, so we really should have arrived earlier. The only minor thing is the gravel path at the entrance, which seems intentionally designed. You can contact the camp beforehand to have staff help with your luggage, as it's a bit difficult to drag suitcases yourself. Also, the soundproofing in the tents isn't the best, but that's to be expected when choosing a campsite. Overall, it's a great camp, and the breakfast selection is very rich. You can also request an oxygen machine.

Taking a break from my busy schedule, I pressed pause on work and embarked on an eight-day, seven-night trip to Yili. Without hesitation, I chose the Yining Green Valley InterContinental Hotel for my stay. As someone who travels extensively around the world, I've always trusted the InterContinental Group, and every stay has met my expectations. This hotel can truly be considered the pinnacle of accommodations in Yili. Having just opened, from its design aesthetics to its hardware facilities, there's almost nothing to fault. Even my son remarked that it was the best hotel experience he'd ever had. The front desk service was warm and attentive. We had booked two rooms with only four breakfasts included, but when Annie at the front desk learned that there were three people in one of our rooms, she thoughtfully helped us request an additional complimentary breakfast. Such attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. The hotel's breakfast selection is truly top-notch in China. The variety is extensive, and I was especially delighted to find beef bacon – you can feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. Throughout the entire trip, I felt safe and comfortable. This stay at Wanda Realm was excellent overall, deserving a full five-star rating. The Sky Lobby on the 27th floor is grand and elegantly decorated. The front desk staff were professional and attentive, kindly offering a room upgrade. The hotel's lobby environment is outstanding, with excellent hardware facilities and a full range of amenities. The soft services were equally commendable. Wanda's service standards are truly trustworthy; they are professional and meticulous, yet warm and thoughtful, respecting guests' privacy without being intrusive – truly a service paradise. Our butler, Gina, provided attentive and timely service. I'm very glad I chose this hotel for my trip, and my stay was extremely pleasant. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi. You can drive directly to the underground parking garage and take the elevator straight up. It would be even more perfect if there were more power outlets.

I brought my family to Kashgar, and the Radisson BLU Shenzhen exceeded all expectations. The hotel facilities are incredibly well-maintained, from the grand lobby to the smooth-operating elevators. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent too, ensuring my child slept soundly. What truly impressed me was the cleanliness of the children's amenities and the swimming pool. It's clear that daily maintenance is diligently carried out, and they haven't let their high guest volume compromise their standards. The service deserves special praise. We checked in during a holiday, and the hotel had arranged a DIY craft activity that my child absolutely loved. In the evening, the staff even proactively asked if we needed a late-night snack and warmed up some milk for my little one – truly thoughtful details! The facilities feel new, and the service is genuinely warm. I highly recommend this hotel for families with children.

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, truly exceptional. The last time I felt this way was at the Ion Hotel in Iceland – that sense of being isolated from the world, yet having the whole world at your feet. When I compare it to those unattainable secluded retreats and other luxury wilderness hotels I've stayed at domestically, this place truly feels like incredible value for money. The starry sky at night was also the most beautiful I've ever seen to date. The hotel's architecture is also very aesthetically pleasing, blending seamlessly and harmoniously with the surrounding mountains and nature. There are many small animals; the horses and sheep roam freely, and Oreo, the little dog, even became friends with us. He accompanied us in the evening and came to check on us in the morning. We also saw marmots and many small wild flowers. The concierge team – Yeran, An An, Zahir, and Reziya – were all fantastic. The young men helped us carry our luggage up and down, and brought it to our room. They were also very responsive on WeChat, always addressing our requests. For instance, we mentioned wanting to have afternoon tea while stargazing later, but then forgot about it because of the bonfire party. We only remembered at almost midnight, but the young staff still delivered it to our room. The F&B team – Aishe, Aliya, Xiaoben, and Xiaosu – also provided excellent service. The latte art on the coffee in the morning was beautiful. And it seemed like a friend of the owner was hosting a banquet with a roasted whole lamb, and the female manager (I assume) even brought us two plates – it was indeed delicious. However, the fresh whitefish we pre-ordered was also good, though it tasted a bit like the whitebait from Taihu Lake. I had originally planned to visit during Chinese New Year to see the snowy mountains, but ended up coming in summer. Yet, it offered a different kind of breathtaking beauty. I hope to have the chance to stay here again next time.

The hotel is superb, the room is clean, and the sleep is very good, especially the service point of Miss Haas at the front desk, very warm and enthusiastic, a perfect business trip. Because of the full service, it makes me have an infinite good mood and a full love for Kashgar. I hope that everyone who comes to Kashgar in the future can also get a full of happiness here. The hotel is really clean and tidy, the bed makes me a little messy and I won't shoot 😉

As a relatively high-end brand under Hilton, the Conrad seems to be currently the highest-priced hotel in Urumqi. Both its service and quality are truly commendable. The Executive Lounge on the 37th floor offers great food options, including soft drinks, red wine, and Evian sparkling water. The two signature à la carte dishes at breakfast were delicious, and there was also a wide variety of other choices. The staff were very patient and capable of solving problems for guests. All in all, I will definitely choose the Conrad again next time I visit Urumqi.

This guesthouse in Narati was the best accommodation we had during our entire Xinjiang trip. The aesthetic appeal of both the exterior and interior design is evident, with attention to detail truly standing out. I particularly loved the green plant views from our room. The comfort level was excellent too; the bedding was soft, and the latex pillows were absolutely amazing. We loved them so much that we bought the same kind when we checked out. They didn't skimp on amenities either: a Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, a coffee machine, a magnifying mirror, a washing machine, and more. What truly impressed us the most was the service. From the manager to every staff member, everyone genuinely cared about the guests' experience. In the evening, when we ordered food, they even sent up some small pastries, and the next morning, they treated us to coffee with breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch. Due to a change in our itinerary, we had to shorten our two-night stay to one, and the guesthouse was incredibly accommodating, kindly waiving the fee for the second night. Overall, it was a comfortable, considerate, and high-quality experience. It's not one of those mass-produced 'influencer' guesthouses; they genuinely put their heart into their service.

I highly recommend the Mowgli City Tancheng Hotel! It's super close to the Devil's City (Wuerhe Ghost City), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The Western-style architecture creates an amazing atmosphere, and there are photo opportunities everywhere within the resort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and decorated with a full Xinjiang ethnic flair. The staff are warm and attentive, even proactively sharing tips for exploring the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, including a parking lot and EV charging stations, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. This was a super restorative night during our road trip through Northern Xinjiang – definitely the top choice when visiting Wuerhe!
