The hotel is clean, the room has very good facilities, there is parking but there is an extra charge. Everything is great, the staff are lovely, perfect
Overall the trip was good. We visited out of season so the hotel was fairly quiet. stayed for 5 nights. Like a few reviewers have commented, we booked a queen/ double bed and upon arrival to our room discovered we'd been given the key to a twin room ( two single beds) however upon being informed of the error by my husband, we were quickly moved to another room that was spacious and had the most comfortable bed that I've slept in, in a long time.
Parking wise, because it was out of season we were able to find on street parking with no issue and public transport was easy enough to access near by. We got the train into Dusseldorf and Koln during out visit.
The gym is basic but enough if you want a quick workout and the pool is a reasonable size, you just have to watch out for other guests who think it's appropriate to take their phones poolside. The sauna has hot coals and was nice and hot, but the lockers in the ladies changing rooms didn't want to lock and one ate my coins.
Food in the restaurant was nicely done but drinks in the bar a little pricey ( but I think most hotels are like that).
There is a swimming pool and a sauna. It is good to relax after tiredness. But breakfast is relatively simple and not used to eating. Can cope! There are not many restaurants around, and there are not many choices for a few laps of hunger that day.
Fashionable design hotel with the thermal bath and nice park right across. Indoor Swimming pool is beautiful but not thermal controlled. Nice sauna and steam area and shower area. Lack of usb charging outlet is a negative. Can clean and dry clothes for 3 euro each but one of the dryers must pick up clothes within 2 hours otherwise clothes will be locked up. Overall nice stay here
KAMEHA GRAND is a ride away from buissy Towns like Cologne oe Düsseldorf, with their International airports. But it is one of my favorite places to stay arround in this area. Ambiente, Service, Wellness Treatments, the food and location close to the river rhine is it worth to travel and stay longer than one night. Great event location also with several Halls toll up to 1.500 participants
It is beautifully renovated recently and the room is extremely comfortable. However, some staff appeared not well trained. There are a cleaner kept to open my door while I was in the room and I didn't know if he do the same while I was not there. Once he caught me just out of shower. It is really disturbing?
Spacious rooms. Good breakfast.
Really nice Spanish restaurant for dinner just a 2 minute walk. On-site swimming pool, water park and playground fun for kids
Breakfast was very good and luckily served until 10:30 a.m. because it was school holidays. The room was nice, too, although a bit small, but we had booked the cheapest category.
However, we chose this hotel because of the pool and sauna. The pool was broken and unusable. The sauna is actually available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning. That's not a problem, but if you don't know, it's simply annoying. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time! It's a shame, because this could have been avoided with proper communication.
This century-old hotel is located on the Seven Peaks Mountain and on the banks of the Rhine River. Experience the feeling of living in a castle. The smell of Parma cologne in the hotel is endless, and every corner embodies the atmosphere of classical elegance! Recommended!

GGulu5220The location is close to the highway, with many supermarkets and businesses around it. There is also a large market on weekends. It is a quiet and comfortable choice for a stay.
GGuest UserThe room is better than expected, and the facilities are well maintained. Before checking in, I wondered if this hotel was very old, after all, it has been open for so long. I didn't expect it to be so good. The bathroom is also very large, and the bathtub and shower are separate.

GGuest UserLyskirchen Köln is such a good choice even the locals and traveling Germans recommend it. The location is 5-7 minutes away from the Chocolate Museum and roughly 15 minutes from the cathedral and central station. You can easily walk to the restaurants (including a nice Thai place called Krua Thai) and bars and reach the Roman museum and Hohenzollern bridge without much effort. The rooms at Lyskirchen are comfortable but don't expect the typical extras associated with 4-star hotels. I was grateful for the swimming pool, which was spacious enough that kids don't bother you when you do short laps (most will be disappointed with the gym though). I highly recommend doing the online check-in because the front desk will tell you to perform it there anyway. Lyskirchen Köln has these really nice eco-friendly keycards too. The breakfast is typical intercontinental and limited (so if it's not included with the room the 25 euros isn't worth it). Overall, the hotel is still an excellent choice for a brief stop at Köln.
GGuest UserNewish Hotel, in a remote location, need a car to get around. The rooms have no climate control, needed to request a fan as it was hot and humid in room. The 'natural pool' was freezing and quite dirty to look at, pointless as not heated in Germany. For a chef hotel, breakfast was average, not consistent, one morning the eggs benedict were great, next morning, totally overcooked and unappealing, Pancakes were aweful. At dinner, service was also inconsistent, forgot the soup, brought it after a long time after main course, just didnt work. We also found it to be very inflexible for a small luxury boutique hotel - they only provided sparkling water in the room, when we asked to switch the bottle to still water, there was poor communication and a charge of 8 euro for the still water? tap water tasted pretty salty and did not want to use that in the coffee machine either. overall pretty average, would not return or recommend
GGuest UserYou can see Cologne Cathedral directly from the room, and the walk to the cathedral is also very beautiful. Recommended! The staff are very enthusiastic
TTung YiuThe hotel is superb in everything. Good location in proximity to the train station, comprehensive facility, large and spacious room. The front desk is very helpful. I arrived the hotel at 7:00am or so and the staff found me a room for early check-in.
