Although the room was a bit dated, the park-facing view was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast view was equally great with a rich and delicious selection of food. Parking was also very convenient. I've known about this hotel since my school days, and staying here ten years later brought back so many memories. After breakfast, walking through the park to the city center was a truly wonderful experience.
Unfortunately, we had a room where it was extremely smelling after exit. A exchange was no problem. Unfortunately there were no snacks at the bar in the evening. Here and there would be a need for renovation. The hotel has no more deserved 4 stars.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far away from downtown Weimar, but there is a bus at the door, and there is convenient ground parking for self-driving. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a balcony and you can see the lush forest. There is no hotel breakfast this time because there are too many delicious restaurants in the small town of Weimar. Weimar is really great, not too noisy, highly recommended
The front desk service of the hotel is super patient and friendly. The swimming pool is also highly recommended. The hotel is very cost-effective.
Also, the local potato balls are the best I have ever tasted in Germany, and the fresh mushrooms in the forest are invincible.

GGuest UserIn fact everything was good. Great praise to the kitchen. Breakfast and dinner were super delicious. Unfortunately, I had to sit on a prescribed table (cat table) that was just next to the buffet and I was thus having to look at the backs (and other body parts) of the other guests from nearby. A change of place was not possible, although other tables were free.
The rooms were modernised but very bright. In addition, there was only a refrigerator in the double rooms, unfortunately.
GGuest UserBreakfast was super, swimming pool was good, the beds led to back pain and 2 x was the toilet stuck. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bad Tabarz, To foot to the city centre jca. 25 min.
GGuest UserThe hotel is an former FDGB holiday object. This is still to note to the overall object. The rooms are spacious, clean and modernized. The bathroom has still the charm of the 1990s, but it all worked well and was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. I could sleep very well. I used the indoor pool. There is a 25 m swimming pool and a smaller non-swimming pool. Also here everything was okay. The sauna is free, I haven't used it. Breakfast buffet is very rich.
