Guest UserMy wife and I arrived at the hotel on May 31st. The manager, Hashim (who speaks Russian, which was a pleasant surprise), checked us into a lovely room with a view on the second floor in the far 'petal' wing. We liked the room, but after seeing so many families with children in the restaurant, we asked to be moved to the Stella 5-star hotel of the same chain, which was located nearby. We were mentally prepared to pay an extra charge, but the senior manager offered us another option, and the next day, we moved to the 5-star Stella Golf hotel without any additional cost. We really appreciated that the staff quickly understood our need for a quiet stay and offered a very acceptable solution without extra charges.
At the new hotel, we also want to thank the staff and especially Manager Wael for handling all our requests quickly and professionally. Every evening at dinner, he personally approaches each guest to ask about their day and if they need anything. Such care creates a feeling of true relaxation and rest.
For other travelers, I'd like to note that both hotels are not beachfront, but an electric car departs for the beach every 10 minutes. The Golf hotel has a slightly vintage ambiance that makes you feel like an English aristocrat – there's a smoking room, a library, a billiards room, a golfers' room, etc. The rooms have modular furniture (a bit outdated but vintage), only a rain shower (no flexible hose), Wi-Fi is distributed via single-use passwords valid for 1 to 4 days per gadget separately and resets when you go to the beach. The pool is small and visible to everyone in the lobby. Due to the golf ponds, there might be mosquitoes in the rooms, and there are no screens on the balcony door – so bring mosquito repellent.
Overall, the hotel is very quiet, and there are live performers in the evenings. You can also learn to play golf.

Tatiana! The hotel is located in an industrial area, surrounded by factories, a port, etc. It's fine for a 1-2 night stay, but not for an extended period. The clientele is mostly Egyptians, plus a lot of children. If you like to enjoy a quiet breakfast, lunch, or dinner, forget it: there's screaming, shouting, and running around, all in a confined space and without parental control. I just wanted to leave the dining area quickly, as I can't even bring myself to call it a restaurant. The food is decent, but it's hard for vegetarians to find a main dish, as the fish is the cheapest and absolutely tasteless. There were shrimp, but they were fried into a patty, which really wasn't appetizing. The lobby and pool are beautiful. Would I come back here? Unlikely.

Everything was fine, but the towel in the shower was a little dirty and there was no tea at dinner and no option to order food to the room. Everything else was just super, I liked it and I plan to go with my family.

I recently stayed at Porto Sokhna. On a positive note, the service was good and the staff was helpful. However, the overall experience was quite disappointing due to several issues:
Location: The unit was quite far from the beach.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was below expectations and needs serious improvement.
Noise: The central AC units were very loud and disturbing, especially at night.
Furniture & Maintenance: The furniture condition was poor. The sofa bed was broken and wouldn't open properly, and the wardrobe was loose/falling apart.
Overall, while the staff does a good job, the management needs to focus on room maintenance and hygiene before I could consider staying here again.

Guest UserLocation is very good from Cairo ~1:15 hours. Sea water is shallow and boring for swimming. Staff are super friendly (special thanks to Mr Mohamed, the resturant manager). Facility is clean and prestigious but with few resources (one swimming pool, and one resturant). Service is very good. Nearby supermarket, but pharmacy is faraway. Not very friendly for baby strollers/wheelchairs.

The location is relatively biased, there is no way to take a taxi, the front desk can not help the guests call the car, really speechless. I was in a hurry to go to Teda, and finally took the local car. The Egyptian people were still very enthusiastic. They sent us to Teda without any cost. Breakfast is still available in the local area. After the first afternoon, I ordered a seafood pasta. The weight is large and the taste is OK?

The hotel has a beautiful environment, but the room layout is too perfunctory. The service is thoughtful and the food is delicious. The hotel is a bit far from the beach. The front desk staff is too slow to check in. The check-out service is even slower.

The only hotel in the TEDA Industrial Park. Stayed for a month, breakfast and dinner were OK, the room was quiet and comfortable, there was a swimming pool and a shuttle bus to the beach. Resort hotel, many locals on weekends
