The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Hotel Grand Briston is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m, near the bus station to go to the surrounding ancient villages only about 100m the hotel is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m near the bus packing for going to the surrounding ancient villages of Colmar. It is only about 01 km to the center. It is very convenient and comfortable. Room is clean and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will com back!

Stayed at this hotel for one night as an interim stop as part of a rail tour. As is mentioned in other reviews this hotel is perfectly located for the railway station, about 300 yards across the plaza. The room was a reasonable size, warm, with TV and a safe but no tea or coffee making facilities There was no evening meal offered by the hotel so I'm unsure if the hotel doesn't do these or if it was just not part of our deal but, in any event, there are plenty of eateries close by. Breakfasts were available in the hotel and were very good, with a selection of hot and cold breakfast foods. Can't provide a detailed review as we only stayed one night but, as far as I can see, this hotel is fine for a transit or longer stay in Strasbourg.

The location is biased, but the parking is convenient. There is a Chinese buffet restaurant in 5 minutes walk. The small fried is very powerful and delicious.

Just what we wanted - a clean, functional place to lay our heads. The 24 hour check-in means no worries about getting there by a certain time from the UK which is invaluable. Close to the motorway, but far enough away not to be noisy.

The hotel has apparently been renovated, however we do not really see this renovation, neither on the outside neither on the inside. The Venezuelan receptionist and the breakfast lady, the only one able to speak English with me, were very friendly and explained to me even all the places worth visiting in Nancy. They are the only reason why I'm leaving this note of 5, however, the hotel itself is nothing special at all.

Free secure parking firstly with camera surveillance, locked gate after 9pm which was excellent for our motorcycle. Friendly amenable service, requested extra pillows, not a problem at all. Air conditioned room with a comfortable bed and a superb shower. Good breakfast the next day. Hotel will supply you with a 15% off voucher for the Italian restaurant across the road but we chose the O Grand Buffet just up the road, unlimited, quality food, I'm talking langoustines and steak for around 20 euros. Close to exit roads to the motorway and also to tram stop if you want to go in to the city. An excellent place to stay.

We stayed here for 1 night as visiting basel as we were told it's cheaper to stay in France but when you add up the cost of travel it doesn't add up. My advise stay in basel and get a basel card as if you stay in a basel city hotel you get a basel card which gives you free travel on trams and buses and discount to museums We paid 50 pounds to stay here 1 night on a Saturday night but had we payed 100 pounds to stay at hotel in basel we would of been around £20 quid better off as we used trams busses and visited museums. Hotel is literally 1 minutes walk from the border of France and Switzerland can't miss it. The hotel is very basic small double bed quite hard but fine and little kitchen in same room. Bathroom was ok but like the room needs updating. Shower was fine pressure ok and water was hot. Never ate at breakfast so couldn't comment. Pool at hotel but never used so again can't comment. Check in wasn't great as door to place is locked so had to ring intercom for ages to get in.. The receptionist in the morning was helpful and polite. We got a coffee and a pastry from coffee shop nearly opposite the hotel. We got a cab from hotel for 17 euro to three countries bridge which we crossed from France into Germany then across another bridge back into Switzerland.

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk. However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character. There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well. The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels). Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside. In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris. Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon. There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

Excellent coffee. Hamza was very nice and welcoming!! We stopped briefly to charge our car and we’re pleasantly surprised. The area feels very peaceful and there is a nice swimming pool - if we were staying longer we would surely use it. Thanks!

The hotel is located right opposite the main station, which is convenient. Though its relatively far from most of the places of interest. We chose it due to our large luggages, it'll be great if they had ramp at their entrance for us to drag our luggage in. 😅 The room is very clean, and we got a free upgrade. Room is consider pretty small even though its upgraded. So be very careful when booking the small room. We were very lucky to be given an upgrade with 2 huge luggages. Breakfast is decent. They had free flows of drinks any time of the day, which is a plus for a chilling weather to have a cup of tea/coffee. Overall is a pretty decent stay.

During late November and early December we were on a Gate1 Christmas market tour and The Hilton Strasbourg Hotel was one of the chosen itinerary hotels. We stayed two nights and while it wasn't a bad stay, it was nothing memorable (I actually didn't take pictures of the room!) or special. The room furnishing, lighting, and carpeting really felt dated and should be renovated to make a more warm and welcoming atmosphere. And I might be a bit generous here, after the previous hotel's (bathroom door got locked and the hotel maintenance man had to drill and destroy the door handle and plate) door fiasco and less than clean room and comparing them. The room at this Hilton was acceptably clean. The tour group had arranged a dinner (probably because our schedule had us arriving later) at the hotel with a choice of quiche or chicken and an apple streudel for dessert. Our friend had some sort of dietary restrictions as well as some others in the tour group. Our waiter was attentive and made sure he gave those guests their correct plates. However for dessert, another waiter was helping and just passing out the plates of apple strudel to everyone. She saw our waiter and asked him what was in that dish and he apologized and said that was the wrong dessert for her and took it away. But sadly for her eating restrictions, the dessert they provided her were three oranges instead of apple strudel! Breakfast buffet was ok, not bad and variety/quality were ok. Wait staff was fine. One member of our group had Hilton Diamond status and the front desk did let him and his wife access their lounge but he said it was also just ok, nothing special. Not sure if we'd choose to stay here as it was just an ok/unmemorable stay at this Hilton. Location isn't too bad but not super close to some attractions. Staff were generally ok but didn't really seem as helpful.

We arrived at the hotel midday on the 28th of December, checked in a bit late (I was told the room was not ready). Was not annoyed at all though, the receptionists were really friendly and chatty. They helped us through with anything we asked for, cannot complain about anything. The room was a bit ”isolated” from the other rooms which was a nice bonus! Closed garage just next to the hotel for a reasonable price was also a bonus. If there would be something for me to suggest that could get improved, that would be the wifi signal in the room. I guess that was due to the fact that it was a bit isolated, perhaps an extra access point would make the job perfect. Still, I browsed the internet just fine, had to move a bit from the bed to the desk. Location-wise, it's only 15' walk from the historical town center and a 10' minute walk from a mall. Thank you all over there, looking forward to seeing you again if I show up again soon!

I loved this hotel. It had features of higher end hotels even though it was budget. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was basic yet very comfortable and functional. Only problem is that it could have had more charging outlets. The large bathroom was a big wet type room with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was lovely with many selections and a waffle maker. They even had a water machine to fill your water bottles. If I get back to this beautiful city, I will be sure to stay here. It was also extremely clean.

I am pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The welcome was perfect with smiling and always attentive staff. The room was clean and well thought out with everything needed. I took the relaxation option for the spa, it is made up of a small hammam, two infrared cabins and a small swimming pool which is much needed. For breakfast, there was something for everyone. Regarding parking, you must reserve it in advance to ensure a place, but otherwise free spaces outside are available. I will happily come and stay at this hotel!!
