On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent, and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay

I had an incredible stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia. The hotel offers stunning views that truly capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat. The food and drink options were excellent, with a variety of delicious meals available. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in a breathtaking setting.

My friend & I booked 2 single rooms with a sea view. We booked 6 weeks in advance and checked with reception by phone that we'd have a sea view room each, could park, and a full English vegetarian breakfast including plant based sausages would be available - all prior to booking. We were assured of all of these so booked 3 nights to include on site parking, chargeable at £6 a night, although we could have parked roadside outside the front door for the same price. The reality was that we had to park in another car park down the road, our rooms had no view, fit to be store cupboards - not bedrooms, my room smelt unpleasant and both rooms were dingy and cramped. We complained and were then allocated more spacious single rooms with a sea view, which is what we'd booked. Still my bathroom was cramped, you could rest your head on the sink when using the loo, the shower unit was old, broken rail, dated furniture, curtains carpet, etc etc. There were no vegetarian sausages at breakfast 2 mornings running, apparently the 'order hadn't come in'. No mushrooms either, just baked beans, hash browns, egg & tomatoes. Meat sausages and bacon were plentiful! Despite raising this at the desk there was no interest or solution offered from the staff. We asked what they'd expect of the rest of the customers if the meat order hadn't come in. They agreed there would be a riot. They got some veggie sausages for the 3rd morning after I pointed out that Asdas sell them 5 minutes up the road. By this time we'd lost confidence in them being prepared & handled seperately from the meat. The chef (if indeed he is a real chef) was so abrupt and unapologetic that we felt unsure about eating them. He brought us 2 each on the last morning, which we wrapped in napkins and fed to the gulls after checking out. Altogether the hotel service was indifferent, careless, rude, disorganised, they fobbed us and other guests off with lame excuses & contradictory information. We overheard another guest experiencing the same as us regards vegetarian breakfast, and complaints about the food & service in general from yet more guests. It was not good value, I'd describe it as a hostel, not a hotel. The location was pretty much its only saving grace as it was seafront and near town. The bar area was pleasant but service was very slow. We met a lady who had stayed at the Premier Inn in a double room, spacious, with a roomy ensuite, clean, modern & up to date, with a full cooked breakfast for £66.00 a night. Our experience was the opposite, forlorn furnishings & a meagre, limited choice of vegetarian options for breakfast. We paid £76.00 a night. No brainer, stay at the Premier Inn

We just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations.
The Groes Inn

We had a wonderful stay in a signature terrace double room. Check in was speedy and welcoming. I enquired about walks as there was an empty leaflet holder for local walks and the lady found us one of the leaflets and told us about recent feedback from guests about one of the routes possibly no longer being accessible, which was handy to know. Room was large and the terrace was spacious with a great mountain and field view, also visible through the large windows in the room. The bed was the width of two singles pushed together, so superking or possibly even wider, and the extra space meant we slept really well, better even than at home. The pillows were a bit flumpy and could probably do with being changed for something a bit more robust, but even so they didn't stop us sleeping well. I think the bathroom could use a makeover just to modernise, but there was nothing wrong with it. The tea, coffee and water supply is generous and fully replenished daily including a couple of Borders biscuits which reappear every day. This includes some fresh coffee with a cafetière, not just the instant crap! Breakfast was superb, with a continental selection as well as various cooked options made to order. Dinner service was good and as somebody who detrimentally overthinks things like ”what's the right way to attract the waiter's attention?” to the point that I'll usually leave it to someone else in the party, I loved that Ben was routinely introducing himself to his customers using his name; it was really personable and it meant not having to overthink how best to get his attention when we wanted to order more drinks! If we come back to the area we would 100% choose the Groes Inn again!

The perfect place to stay whilst visiting Llandudno. Stayed for the first time for one night Friday 13th September whilst visiting Llandudno. We should have booked earlier as we ended up on the 3rd floor (Room 9) which overlooked the backs of buildings - no sea view. That apart (we will book earlier next time) the room was of a good size with good facilities, the shower/toilet etc spotless, the bed was comfy and a good night's sleep was had by my wife and I. There was a well-stocked bar with views across to the pier. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, in particular, they were very helpful with parking advice. the hotel does not have a car park. We had breakfast with lots of choices to choose from, the traditional English breakfast we had was delicious. In all this is a very nice hotel. I suffer from a chronic respiratory problem but glad to say there are lifts to all floors. We would have no hesitation in staying there again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
The Quay Hotel and Spa

A 2 night stay at this spa hotel was amazing. We travelled with our dog and my elderly mum who has mobility issues. We were allocated a lovely room on the ground floor with a fully accessible bathroom and a lovely patio area. Delicious breakfast and s.all but perfectly formed spa. Booked a treatment in advance which was amazing. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful and we loved the location and how close conwy castle was and Llandudno. The only small issue was the hotel was dog tolerant. We could eat in the library but no indoor dog friendly area in the bar. I understand not everyone likes dogs but a small area would have made it perfect. We will definitely revisit as it was really a beautiful place to stay and has a wonderful terrace overlooking the quay at Deganwy with a stunning view of conwy castle.

The location is at a crossroad and it is still a bit far away from the seaside on foot. There is a large free parking lot. The accommodation is a separate entrance behind the bar. I like the design of the spiral staircase very British style. The room is exquisite and comfortable with an old small fan. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked. They arranged for us to sit in the corner of the bar for dinner. The products were very good. I personally prefer the decoration and atmosphere of the bar. It was a very pleasant night! The breakfast on the second day is half a la carte, that is, the cold cuts are self-service and the a la carte hot food is still exquisite and delicious😋... Overall very good, especially recommended to friends who want to experience a bar-type hotel!
