The general manager of the hotel is super nice and the other service staff are also very enthusiastic and really nice. The location is good, not too noisy. The sound insulation is a little bit poor. Everything else is good, highly recommended if you are on a spiritual journey. If it's a luxury trip, that's a different story.

Hotel Seven Inn may be a decent option relative to other options in Bodh Gaya. It's a bit hard to compare without experiencing other hotels. Importantly, the rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds. There is hot water always and the general service of all the staff is very good. When one of us got sick the hotel even arranged for a doctor to come within 30 minutes. During our stay there were a few concerns others should consider when booking though: - A beautiful Vietnamese temple is next door and they begin to play their gongs around 4am which may wake you up every day. If you are a deep sleeper or if this is something you might even enjoy it wouldn't be an issue. - To enter and exit the hotel you have to walk through a very narrow 50 foot long small dirt pathway that leads between peoples corrugated metal & wooden homes. I felt a bit invasive and uncomfortable walking through an impoverished area into a hotel without any other route options. - The ***ager at Hotel Seven Inn gives off an impression of being very attentive and helpful to guests but it quickly became apparent that the intentions behind this service is to acquire more business. By the end of the trip we did not trust him and even found his demeanor to be almost abrasive. Upon check out he told us that his credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash. Only after telling him that we would be unable to pay then because we had no cash did the card machine magically begin to work. We asked if he could arrange a taxi to the airport and he told us that it would cost 1,200 rupees. A taxi to and from the airport should cost 700 max. As I told him, this was the first time in my month in India that someone had been dishonest about the cost of a service.

Very good and I have been assisted by Mr Ganesh and his team. I have really enjoyed my stay even though it was short but I will definitely come back next time with my whole family, this is a very good place to stay for couples, families, etc… I 100% recommend this place.

All staff and service is great. All types of food, breakfast and dinner is available here. Also a Punjabi taste is available here. Very good option for rest in Patna would be a Gargi Hotel, because if saree services are available at one place then what is the need to wander somewhere else.

The beautiful ‘Sarovar’property in Bodhgaya, has been set up in a tranquil & green environment. We went there for 2 days then extended our stay for one more day. Still the sweeeet memories of the vacation are lingering on. The rooms overlooking the water bodies are spacious, relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. The food at the ‘Varada Café’ is delightful. Very polite & well trained staff. Thanks, the entire team ‘Marasa Sarovar Premier’ for filling our stay with your warmth and care. We will certainly be staying here again with our friends soon.

Recently visited here hotel is just wow very very delicious food specially chicken biryani awesome and there are many types of food in buffet breakfast and dinner lotus swimming pool neat n clean rooms are also comfortable and great........

Quality wise it is a good apartment for stay, away from direct main road, so the vehicle disturbance is almost zero. The behavior of the owner is well good. A bathtub is available in bathroom. Two to three car parking is available. Fooding arrangements and mahabodhi temple is within 2-3km and e-riksha is available till 10pm.

Extremely happy with every aspects. One of my close friends suggested that adress, i am extremely happy by staying here. Behavior of every employees working over there is extremely polite humbke and professional aswell. Food quality is awesome. Comfort is excellent. More over. The location is excellent.

We were looking for a pet friendly place, since we can't leave our little pug behind and that led us to find Sambodhi Retreat Located at a small village in Bodh Gaya. Experience was awesome, right from the booking process till we checked out. We Stayed there for 3nights/days and could have easily stayed for a week. They also arranged candle night dinner for our parents 39th Anniversary at reasonable price. I'm forgetting the names but entire staff including reception, house keeping to restaurant did their best to make our stay a memorable one. The property is huge and you won't feel like going outside. You get soothing poolside, and greenery all around. My favourite place was watching ducks and listening birds chirping out loud. You end up feeling that you are at a hill station not a crowded and hot city like Gaya. In today's age, hotels have to be pet friendly. It's almost a crime to not allowed pets. Here Sambodhi stand apart in entire state. Hope others learn quickly. We stayed at VIP green cottage which is well designed and sufficient for a family of 5-6. There were minor glitches like hot water not working, but it was fixed as soon as we pointed it out. Location wise the resort is away from city hustle and just 15 mins drive from main Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Daya. I would highly recommend it to everyone visiting Bodh Gaya or travelling across Rajgir - Gaya tourist belt. Thank you to entire Sambodhi Retreat team for comfortable and memorable stay.

Good Things: ----------------- 1. Best reason to choose this hotel was that this is centrally located in Bodhgaya. All major temples are within walking distance i.e. 5 - 7 minutes walking from hotel except the Bodhi temple which is about 12-15 mins walk from the hotel. If you do not like walking, there is plenty of toto / tuktuk available. Negotiate before getting on one. They tend to quote higher rate. 2. Room and bathroom were big and clean. 3. Staff is very polite. The front desk ***ager is Bengali and will help you with information you want. The kitchen staff requires a special mention. They were very polite and always ready to help. 4. The restaurant food is freshly made, tasty and served hot. You would have to order in advance to get it in your required time. 5. Ample parking place, something which is not very common in Bodhgaya. For most of the hotels we saw where parking is available, either you would have to park in the road in front of the hotel or they have a narrow stretch (within the hotel) where you have to keep it. Here the entire hotel is surrounded by a compound wall and you can keep at least 10 cars simultaneously. 6. 24 hours hot water in the bathroom both shower and basin which was a relief as we visited in peak winter. Not so good things: ------------------------ 1. Restaurant food is costly with respect to Indian standards. 2. The property is old one. Though there is ample space like a small lawn and parking, it could be improved a lot. 3. The rooms are not noise proof and there is a semi transparent glass at top of the room entry door from where the lobby lights keep the room illuminated (at least to my standard) at night. 4. Fixed menu breakfast. Even after our request to the hotel to have a minor tweak, it was not entertained. The same was done in other hotels we stayed before. 5. Though the hotel has option to provide room heater, it was not specifically stated or informed to us. During winter night temp in Bodhgaya drops to 5 - 6 degrees centigrade, and if you visiting during this time, please do not forget to ask. The blankets they provided are not at all close enough to keep you warm in night at this temperature. 6. It seemed to me, that front desk hotel staff is more eager to get a good rating by talking you through, rather than keeping the service level high for all guests (their service towards Indian travelers may vary a bit) same throughout your stay. 7. Coming to the last point, they have a pet dog who roams around freely in their premises during morning. Even though I am a dog lover, every one might not be and travelers with small kids need to keep caution.

Had gone to Patna about a decade ago. Maurya is still the most loved hotel by city's elite and possibly only 5 star facility. The staff is courteous and make you feel comfortable. The Executive Director Sh DB Singh is possibly one of the most sought after professional in the hospitality industry. And he personally takes care of the guests. However, the hotel needs competition now. The lobby looks a bit cramped for space. We were there when a VIP wedding was happening and hence every corner in the hotel had people. It possibly needs complete renovation so that a good coffee shop is built befitting its legacy.

Just what you need for 1-2 days stay in Patna. Conveniently located near the Patna Junction railway station and walking distance to very nice Buddha Smriti Park. Most of the time I spent outside the hotel but when in the room my mobile internet was working fine and allowed for some remote work on a laptop.

Absolutely wonderful experience i every had in my entire business trip, extremely amazing place with a multi cuisine restaurant and a varieties of buffet.My experience was Beyond the Expectations, i would recommend the hotel to every corporate guest who need an Luxurious stay.

To tell the truth, this five-star is not as good as the other punache I live in this city, that is, Punache does not have a swimming pool. The city is not quite a few hotels in the city center. The lemon tree is connected with the pinachr. Both hotels are not bad
