Hotels With Swimming Pools in Piedmont, Italy

We stayed 4 nights in this Hotel in May 2022. Paid quite a high price during those periods, possibly because of many concerts/matches and the fact not many hotels available around those dates made us choose this one. Temperature was around 26-30 degC during our stay. So the room was very hot. There is no fan, we have to open the window throughout the day to get some fresh air. However at night there were so much noises across the street, people were shouting, traffic, noises from the cars buzzing around really disturbed my quality of sleep. Wifi in the room was also very weak and I had always problems accessing wifi from my laptop (sometimes i need to be online to check my work emails/meetings). The room was also a bit old, interior is kind of dusty and maintenance can be done a lot better to improve the quality of guest stay. I came to Turin to watch a concert and expecting a calm/relaxed holiday. Had i known the situation earlier I would not book this hotel and choose rather calm, a bit outside of the city that allow us to rest after long day exploring in Turin. One thing that was good is the reception worker is very polite and tried their best to help us with information.

Breakfast is too good! The train station walks 300 meters. Opposite the lake can take a boat. Bathroom accessories are exquisite! Staff is very friendly and introduces many attractions! The lake room is great

There are 12 stations from Xinmen Railway Station, but it takes 16 minutes to get there. There is a subway line in Turin, and you have to start from Xinmen wherever you go. The room is good and you can see the Alps Snow Mountain. There is a big bakery nearby to solve breakfast, there is a small local treasure restaurant, the aunt does not speak English, the menu can barely understand some, the dishes are first-class, seafood noodles and pizza are first-class

Hotel is in much need of some updates. The sheets and bedding were all ripped and ball-y and the carpets are stained. One pillow each on bed. We were really disappointed after staying at the hotel majestic in bologna. Would not rate this as a 5 star hotel more like 3. Location is great and breakfast buffet was just ok. Most hotels now let you order omelets or eggs how you like, we missed that. This is our 4th time to the lakes and we would not stay here again. Hotel needs some painting and updates to rooms

Just finished up a 2-night visit at the hotel. One of the better stays I have had in awhile. Rooms are very quite spacious with 4+ meter high ceilings and a huge bathroom. The building itself is very cool and the location is literally inside the old Fiat factory just across from Eataly and the Green Pea mall. Staff are very friendly and good — esp Rosella at the reataurant! Breakfast has a large selection which is all of good quality. Coffee was of course very good! Little tricky to find the parking but its right off the circle as you enter the area from the long underground entrance road. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. Il compenso è ottimo si tratta di un lavoro e deve avere un adeguato compenso racconto questa esperienza su tripadvior solo perché molto divertente. Non ero intenzionato a scrivere recensioni talvolta lo faccio sperando che possano servire non ai Clienti ma in particolare ai proprietari o gestori di alberghi o ristoranti come spunto per migliorare la qualità del servizio. Quando mi capita di scriverle le documento come nel mio lavoro da evidenze oggettive ma in questo caso non ne ho molte. Premetto che l'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione e questo non era riportato chiaramente su TripAdvisor. Una forte carenza nel controllo di un'attività straordinaria così rilevante, da parte della Direzione dell'albergo mi porta a consigliare di evitare la prenotazione sino al termine dei lavori. Nella ristrutturazione in corso sono state momentaneamente eliminate le scale esterne su un lato dell'albergo da utilizzare come vie di fuga in caso di incendio, restano quelle sul lato opposto. Sul lato dove è in corso la ristrutturazione ho notato che vengono eseguiti lavori di profonda perforazione che mi fanno pensare a problemi strutturali da risolvere. All'arrivo chiedo di utilizzare il parcheggio interno a pagamento anche perché una parte di quello esterno ė utilizzato come parcheggio per i mezzi che stanno lavorando alla ristrutturazione. Scendo verso il parcheggio interno e volendo andare al coperto come generalmente faccio nei vari alberghi a 4 stelle dove mi reco scendo sino al portone interno. È chiuso scendo e lo apro premendo sul comando per l'apertura. Il portone si apre io proseguo e mi trovo anziché in un parcheggio libero in un salone colmo di mobili o altre cose accatastate mi è impossibile accedere per fare inversione di marcia e sono costretto a risalire in retromarcia ovviamente affrontare la forte pendenza in retromarcia causa una forte usura al mezzo che si guida, e questo è stato evidenziato dal fortissimo odore di gomma bruciata che si sentiva. Risalito in retromarcia il posto macchina più comodo era occupato da una carriola colma di vetri rotti. Non me la sento di spostarla così vado verso i posti a pagamento esterni. Parcheggio la macchina con estrema difficoltà, correttamente nei limiti circoscritti, dato che lo spazio per parcheggiare non permette una facile manovra. Sceso dalla macchina noto che, appena sopra al cofano della macchina termina un tubo delle grondaie e tutta l'acqua finisce sul cofano dato che sta piovedo. La cosa non mi piace e decido di spostarla. Con estrema difficoltà, dato che lo spazio e molto stretto riparcheggio la macchina altrove. Visto che l'albergo è in ristrutturazione non è possibile accedere direttamente dal retro dal parcheggio, ma è necessario ripercorrere con le valige la stradina ora in salita uscire da parcheggio per rientrare in albergo. Arriviamo alla partenza, ed al recupero della macchina al parcheggio. Ca

Breakfast is great, rich menu options, what you want to eat the first night, fill out the form to the front desk, choose your own meal time, the next morning, the waiter will deliver the meal to the room on time, very attentive, and the hygienic drinking experience is very good, worth it recommend.

This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really sizeable and offer good value. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all super friendly(speaking English) and helpful. The hotel is 100 meters from the very efficient subway system which we used to get to the historic centre and to and from dinner - as easiest to avoid trying to find a parking spot in town for the car (the hotel offers free parking). The hotel complex in the old FIAT factory includes a shopping mall, supermarket, the roof race track an art museum and a conference centre.

L'Hotel è raggiungibile molto comodamente in auto da fuori Torino e dispone anche di un ampio garage sotterraneo dal costo giornaliero relativamente contenuto (altrove si paga praticamente altrettanto per un posto auto esterno). E' collegato al centro dal bus 72, che passa praticamente di fronte ogni 5 - 10 minuti e porta a Piazza Castello in poco più di 15 minuti. Lo stesso autobus porta a Venaria Reale, il che merita sicuramente. La camera BASIC era confortevole, bene insonorizzata. Al primo piano è disponibile un ampio giardino pensile con il prato e molti alberi, tavolini, panchine, gazebo... anche un affettuoso gattino. C'è inoltre il ristorante che però non abbiamo provato. Unico appunto per la manutenzione: i corrimano interni degli ascensori mancano di qualche finitura e l'aspiratore del bagno probabilmente non funzionante. Personale di Concierge molto gentile, disponibile ed efficiente. Un po' meno quello delle colazioni che è andato un po' in crisi per via di una numerosa comitiva e i cappuccini si sono fatti attendere un po' troppo.

Hotel in an excellent location in front of Porte Nova train station and very close to Via Roma. Adjacent to the hotel there are few parking spaces for hotel guests. The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant, the staff at reception, cleaning and the dining room are very kind and helpful (especially Marco from reception). The room we stayed in (254) was spacious and clean, comfortable beds and a very good breakfast.

It is a grand old hotel though well maintained with modern comfortable rooms. The beds were good. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The grassy area outdoors near the pool is a great place to sit and look at the lake and at Isola Bella. Service was very good. Only problem was the food. We were here as part of a group and had half board. Breakfast was OK, but dinner was very spotty. Mostly not so good, a few good meals. Avoid the fish, always way overcooked. If you are not tied to a group walk into town for dinners.

In fact everything was very good. Breakfast perfect. The food in the Last Hall restaurant could be a better ticket, for example, not being served hard. Additional cost for the deep garage parking place of € 19 /Tag, in a few parking places on the hotel area, is already sporty especially when booking, As far as I remember, it is not expressly mentioned and no hidden costs would be expected. So look carefully.

We had a triple corner room (with 2 balconies) which was very spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed in,bathroom had a bath and separate walk in shower. Staff all very helpful and friendly with good English. Ample selection at buffet breakfast, continental and bacon and scrambled egg available. Very clean in all areas. Great location, across from the lake, near the ferry station, lots of restaurants and little shops nearby. Double glazing kept the room quiet from street sounds. Others have commented on lack of soundproofing but we had no problem, once or twice heard next doors shower running but only when in our bathroom. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to Lago Maggiore. We were in room 104, in the Stresa part of the hotel.

Our hearts are full of gratitude for everything the @villapalazzoaminta offered to us on our wedding day. The whole experience was so perfect, that we felt like we were at our houses. Villa Aminta is now our place in Stresa. And Stresa, our love's place in the world. Comfortable rooms, stunning views, tasty food, and a kind and helpful staff. We have loved every second of our stay! Thank you!

Por segunda vez volvimos a este hotel que nunca decepciona aunque deben mejorar la forma en que exponen las ofertas. Al llegar al hotel pedí que quería tener la oferta relax total que figuraba en la pagina web. En la mima décia desde 1399 Euros por lo que di oor obvio que ese era el precio para 3 días ( publicidad engañosa, sin necesidad.). Pensando que este era el precio me dijeron en el chek in que no podían generarlo ellos, debía subir al Spa para arreglar con la persona de ahí. Subo al Spa antes de hacer chek in; y le muestro a la persona la oferta a lo que me dice que si la podemos tomar. Me dice que lo debo arreglar en el chek in. Bajo a chek in y hago la gestión por el programa Relax Total. Después de un buen rato me dicen que esta ok y les pido para pagar toda la estadía. Siempre hago de esta forma. Cuando voy a pagar cada habitación ( eran 2); me dicen que el total de ese programa eran 1799 Euros en vez de 1399 Euros. Les reclamo que en el Spa había mostrado la oferta y que me habían dicho que estaba ok pero me dicen que esa tarifa es para otros meses, no el que estaba en curso. Yo ya le había dicho a mis acompañantes que tomaríamos ese programa. Estaban todos ilusionados. Pero al enterarme que valía 400 Euros más de lo que decía en la página inicial tuve que cancelar. Pedí para hablar con el Gerente y este me dijo que no iba a hacer nada; no siquiera una atención por haberse equivocado cuando subí al Spa ( que ellos me mandaron) y le mostré el programa a la chica, la que me dio el ok. Un Gerente que no sabe tratar a un cliente. Yo tengo empresa y si me pasa eso busco una solución. Ellos alegaron que si yo ponía la fecha me arrojaba el precio que decían ellos. Cosa que era verdad. Pero entonces , porque me hicieron ir al Spa para arreglar la oferta? Y si la chica me dio el ok cuando le mostré el precio y el programa; no deberían haber aido flexibles ? Que necesidad tiene el hotel de hacer publicidad engañosa ? La verdad que el hotel es espectacular. No tengo nada que decir respecto a sus habitaciones, las piscinas , el Spa etc. Todo es de primera. La cena que tuvimos ahí no me gustó. Cara y porciones muy pequeñas. El resto todo de primera. Aconsejo que cambien la forma de promover estas ofertas Igualmente recomiendo el hotel.

Excellent position

We stayed at Hotel Splendid for 2 nights while enjoying Lake Maggiore, we had wonderful weather. This Hotel is beautiful, quite grand but in a friendly way, the interiors are classic light and airy make the most of stunning views across the lake. The reception team are very welcoming and friendly and we were greeted like old friends. They very simply and efficiently organised a private water taxi for us to tour the lake and the islands with a lovely skipper who dropped us off and picked us up as we wished. It saved so much queuing on the Islands and we could follow our own timetable. It cost €100 for the both of us and was worth it. We had dinner one night on the terrace over looking the lake which was fabulous. Beautifully presented melon and their local cured ham which was sweet and delicious. The lamb was cooked to perfection and my husband’s perch fresh and tasty. The restaurant team were both efficient but fun too. A lovely evening. Our room was one of their corner suites which was roomy, light with two balconies on the 5th floor so again wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. It had everything we needed including a welcome bottle of Prosecco. The only hiccup was a small bathroom incident when I got stuck in the toilet! The sliding doors that separated it from the main bathroom got jammed and there I was. Fortunately there was a phone on the wall so I tried enough numbers to finally attract the attention of reception who responded immediately and I was released. This clearly needs looking at and was not fixed during our stay but the Hotel from management down were apologetic, understanding and could not have done more apart from take the bathroom apart which I’m sure they will do now we have left. This was a wonderful stay in a beautiful place inside a charming and well run Hotel. Swimming in the lake was sublime, warm, calm with sun beds a few steps away from the water. If you book a suite the use of the Spa is included however at this time of year the lake is perfect plus there is an outdoor pool. Thank you Hotel Splendid.
