This motel was a bit more than expected, the room was very spacious, but there was a chair missing and we had to stand and eat. The front desk service was very good, when we said that we wanted to stay for one night, we were told that the room was full. Simple breakfast provided but had to bring back to the room to eat as there were no tables and chairs for dining. Overall quite satisfactory.
Comfortable stay with friendly staff and clean rooms. Great location and overall a pleasant experience.”
Let me know if you'd like it to sound more professional, casual, or tailored to a specific hotel type.
Hotels in the United States are generally old, so don't care about the old and the new. The hotel room is large, it is a suite, with a bathtub, a living room, and a kitchenette. There is free breakfast (although Trip.com shows that there is no breakfast), I heard that there is a free dinner (haven't tried it, you can ask).
It was a great stay, hotel location is great, near to the falls. Room was big and looks like recently renovated, so all clean and nice. There are multiple restaurants and gaming arcades in the building. Couldn’t ask for more
The room is big and the location is good. You can walk to Niagara Falls. The breakfast is not a buffet, so you can't eat enough and it's not tasty. The check-in cookies are sweet and warm. Parking is very convenient. The price has increased from $16.2!
Facilities: Simple kitchen, microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, kitchenware and tableware are all available.
Hygienic: clean and tidy
Environment: Quiet, surrounded by trees. 5 minutes walk from the Glass Museum
Service: No fussy
Overall it's OK, but there are two problems. One is that the swimming pool does not have circulating water and the water is relatively dirty. The other is that the room is not very soundproof and the sounds in the corridor can be heard clearly! I probably won’t choose this hotel again
The room is spacious and air-conditioned. Like most American hotels, there are no slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, so you have to bring them in advance. But there are towels. The hotel service is very thoughtful, and the front desk and housekeeping gave a lot of support. This is the first choice for living in Stony Brook University.

Very Good
MmaggieyuI've stayed at this hotel many times. Whenever I fly into LaGuardia, this is my go-to place. The free shuttle service is really convenient, and the staff, including the shuttle drivers, are all very friendly and helpful with luggage (remember to tip!). The shuttle is always on time, and the front desk staff, mostly African American, are consistently pleasant. It feels like a standard four-star hotel, with a large swimming pool and a gym, though I'm always too rushed to use them. While there's no microwave in the rooms, there's a communal one on every floor, which is very handy. The prices on Trip.com don't include breakfast, so I can't comment on that, and I always have early morning flights, so even if there was breakfast, I wouldn't have time to eat it.
GGuest UserThere’s this one guy there. (Not the manager)He’s the face and joy of the hotel. Very helpful and thoughtful. Because of him, i stay there whenever i come to nyc.
AAngela Zhang XMExcept for no housekeeper cleaning every day, everything else is fine. Breakfast buffet for one person for 10 dollars, although the dishes are less, it is still affordable.
SShane CanadianI was fine with the hotel but it is not for everyone.
The hotel is a bit dated. The room is quite simple but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a good selection of tv channels. However, there is some deep cleaning required as the heater intake was VERY dusty (see image). The shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were fine for me, but they are quite thin and small. When checking in, I noticed shampoo packets were available at the front desk, but only hand soap packets were provided in the room. Water was not provided in the room nor was there a water dispenser to fill a water bottle. The hotel may want to consider providing a water dispenser in the lobby. The hotel description gives the impression that parking is not available though there was ample parking. It is near a highly developed area with lots of restaurants nearby. However, it is in a bit of a secluded area so it is best suited for travelers with a car. I was a bit disappointed that my room was not available at 430pm (check-in is at 3pm) but the hotel was short staffed that day. The staff I interacted with were polite and tried their best to be helpful.
The main concern people may have is safety. The hotel is at the end of a quiet street and it is brightly lit outside of the hotel. However, many of the rooms open outdoors and there was no security staff visible at the hotel. It is certainly a budget hotel and many of the clients had a rough appearance. I was fine but some may not be comfortable, especially single female travelers.
I would consider booking again but only for a quick and inexpensive stay.
GGuest UserThe room was clean. It was in a wing of the complex that was separate from the main building and we had to cross an outdoor garden to get there. The toilet got clogged and maintenance arrived in 10 minutes to unclog. The Ac/heating unit was loud and kept going on and off all night. The buffet breakfast included was excellent in a lovely spacious dining area.
GGuest UserBare bones, no frills. Staff is friendly and internet is good enough, but if you need anything more than a bed and a (shared) bathroom, stay somewhere else. However, if you don’t care about fancy stuff, this place is perfectly fine, although the bed was uncomfortable. Rooms are small and bare, very minimally furnished, but good enough for me to spend two nights, although next time I’ll probably opt for someplace with private bathrooms. In all, I saved a lot of money by staying here, and I didn’t die.
GGuest UserVisited the hotel for our family reunion. Have visited in the past. Starting with the good. Cindy was the best. We were going to arrive a day early. Cindy was very helpful and ensured the we could adjust our reservation and arrive a day early and keep the same room. Very happy with Cindy and her ability to assist. The breakfasts were good, clean and well stocked.
Now for the not so good. We were told room service would take place after 3 days. After our 4th evening we asked room services when our room would be done. They informed us we were on the list for the following day. We were given two towels. Next day, no room service. We again asked room service staff when our room would be serviced. They said they do the rooms once a week. Maybe a lack of communication. We did get fresh towels later in the day. The area in front of the hotel had tables and chairs to relax and meet. The bases of the tables contained cement. The cement was breaking up and bits of cement and dust was everywhere. It was never swept away the entire time we were there. My family had finished breakfast and we wanted to chat with the manager about some of the issues we were experiencing in the hotel. When we asked the receptionist we were told we could chat with him “if he had time”. We waited for more than 30 minutes in the dining area and he never came to us. We had used the same hotel in the past for family reunions but the place seems to have been going downhill.
NNewmarThe hotel is well located, with an easy acesa
To the beach… The crew is nice, but the building and rooms DO NEED maintenance and finishing. AC liking, walls and ceilings stained… We all know the sea wind demands constant maintenance, but I didn’t see it at the hotel…
GGuest UserStaff was gracious and friendly, bar was awesome and entertainment was great. Morning cafe options were good and appreciate the free coffee! Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and love the king size bed! Bathroom had some stains on wall that could have been cleaned easily so that was a little gross. Shower was not super warm but was ok. Was with a (well behaved) hockey group and I know staff was struggling with another team who was not cooperating with expectations and I felt bad for them, lots of credit to them for their patience. Overall would 100% stay here again.
YYexingyunThere's very little information available about hotels in New York City in Chinese, so I'm writing a detailed account of my stay here in the hopes that it will help others choosing hotels. The hotel is located on a corner of the Columbus Circle roundabout. I went to the Trump Tower by mistake, so be careful with the address when calling a taxi or using navigation. Central Park is just across the street, perfect for jogging or strolling. There are many restaurants, supermarkets (a huge supermarket with milk, fruit, and more) and shopping malls nearby, all within walking distance. You might be able to book a Michelin-starred French restaurant like Jean Georges through the hotel reception; I tried it and it was delicious.
The hotel lobby is very small, but there is luggage service. The room is shown in the picture. I stayed in the smallest, most basic double room, which is smaller than a standard studio. Hotel rooms in the city center are generally not very large. There were two walk-in closets and a kitchen with gas, microwave, cookware, pots, a kettle, and a dishwasher. The cookware in the room was dishwasher-washed and very clean. Disposable coffee cups were provided so I could bring my own coffee in the morning. The room was very clean, the towels were clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. I wore earplugs to bed because the city center isn't quiet. The room was cleaned before bedtime each day, and a glass bottle of Evian and chocolate chip cookies were placed on the bedside table. Two bottles of water were also provided upon check-in. The room was cleaned twice a day and was very clean.
