We were spending a great time in this hotel. The place is Unbelievable, and you can see the sunset and the sunrise facing to the Monument Valley. The price you spent is worth for what you get. Villa it was very clean, and had everything. If in Service It scored only 3 stars, it is because my son forgot a monkey plush in the villa, and I tried to get in contact with the reception and hotel by email, but they just answered me a week after... I kept asking but no more answers... Service could be better.

The bed wasn’t as comfortable as other places I have stayed, but it was ok. I liked that the air conditioner was not right next to the bed and there was a refrigerator and microwave. Also it was great to be able to get a cup of tea in the afternoon. Breakfast was great and everything was at the right temperature. The little store part was great too. I forgot a razor and was able to buy one.

The overall feeling of the hotel is better than the online reviews. The hotel lobby is antique and has a sense of history. The room air conditioner/bathroom ventilation are adequate. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and has two washbasins. There is a microwave. However, breakfast is relatively simple and doesn't have much. The room was some distance from the lobby, and it was already dark when we checked in. Although the front desk marked the location, we still had to find it for a long time in the cold wind. The check-in experience will be better if there is a waiter to show you the way.

This is a great place to stay. I’ve stayed here several times for a night at a time, when flying out the next day. They have an amazing Mongolian Beef rice bowl, great beds+pillows.. It’s clean, friendly, and best of all great service. Today I flew in in a snowstorm. The shuttle driver took me right to my car, so I wouldn’t have to drag my suitcase through the slush in the parking lot, then he put my suitcase in my trunk, AND brushed the snow off my car. Seriously? All my stays here have been great, but this one was above and beyond. It’s a gem, a well kept secret. Part of me didn’t want to write this because I don’t want it to be difficult to book in the future. My only suggestion is perhaps the desk attendant could give customers a map with their room marked. Sometimes finding the room is difficult due to the way it’s laid out. For me this is a minimal complaint and the rest of this establishment makes up for it!

I chose this motel because I had a very early flight out of SLC airport and my return flight a few days later was arriving very late. Since I live a couple hundred miles from the airport I booked a stay on both ends of my trip. My spouse and I are Best Western Rewards members and usually stay at Best Westerns when we travel; but for this trip, I was solo. Checking in, I was given a lot of grief because the reservation was made in my husband’s name (even tho I made the reservation). I even had the confirmation number. The front desk clerk finally agreed to let me stay after a lot of persuasion on my part. My husband and I have the last name, btw. When I returned and tried to check in a few days later, I was told I did not have a reservation. Once again, I did have a confirmation number and the name of the person who had made the reservation for me. The desk clerk told me my reservation had been cancelled by some person whose name I didn’t recognize . I’m clueless why they would let a stranger cancel someone else’s reservation. After a lot of argument the clerk finally agreed to get me a room. But of course it was $40 more than my original room. Even though the rooms were comfy and clean, you can bet I will never stay at this motel again. The clerks are rude and argumentative and have absolutely no desire to help you. The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because the room was decent.

It was recommended as a popular place due to its accessibility to Bryce Canyon + clean facilities. It was great that breakfast was included at a reasonable price. 10 minutes by car to Ua Point? It seemed like a good location to stop by as it was within walking distance. I didn't use it, but there was a heated pool and the warm feel of the lobby was nice.

I had to book this room last minute to deal with a family emergency in the city. The photos looked decent and reviews said it was clean and the price was great. When we arrived late in the evening, the guy behind the desk was apathetic, and actually rather rude. The stairwell up to the third floor was the beginning of my feelings that this may have been a mistake. Between the back alley feel and the phallus shaped artwork on the windows were pretty demoralizing. The cart full of junk outside the door of the room next to us didn't help. Inside the room, I immediately noticed that the walls were scuffed all over and that you could see where light fixtures had been changed. The carpet had stains and was pretty worn. MY wife found some long black hair on the towels in the bathroom, and all they supplied were a pair of bath towels. When she asked the gentleman in the lobby for replacements, he provided a single towel, forcing her to ask for another, and then a hand towel and washcloth. He was pretty rude about the whole thing. Our room had a window facing West Temple, and it's only a single pane so the road noise was significant when compared to a room in other places. There was a lack of outlets that were easily accessible next to the bed, so if you travel with a CPAP, be ready to mobe the bed to plug in. The bed was clean, and the Tempurpedic mattress was nice, but the box spring had obviously been victim to a cat that decided to sharpen its claws. After an OK night's sleep, we took morning showers. In the shower, it looks like the tile had been painted over, and the paint was peeling badly. The worst part of the room in my book is in the shower. The showerhead provided a mere dribble and was simply the most disappointing shower I've ever had in my life. It's a shame, because this property, has some real potential to be a really cool place, so I hope the owners can take this review as constructive criticism and make some improvements.

The front desk staff is also very warm and friendly. The hotel is not far from Zion National Park, about 30 minutes drive away. The only fly in the ointment is that breakfast categories are limited and there is no meat food available.

Specically booked a suite at this hotel for 3 nights to ensure that we had a view from an upper floor. Also website stated that dinners & breakfasts were available at the adjacent restaurant. After checking in we soon realised that the restaurant appeared to be closed. Upon asking at reception this was confirmed - so why had they not sent an email to warn of this situation?! When querying this with reception staff, one member in particular was very curt in her response. We had to search in very high temperatures to find suitable restaurants although the free light rail system did reduce the walking distance.

The breakfast is rich, the hotel is in a good location, the hotel service is good, it is very quiet, the facilities are also very good, the hygiene is good, it is worth recommending to stay, a very good hotel

We came here for a staycation. Very excited to experience the pool. The rooms were very nice. However, I was disappointed with the Pool area. It looks like the hotels that manage it gave up on the maintenance and are letting it go to waste. Breakfast was fine. They do need a larger area. We didn’t know where to sit down or set our food down. We ended up back at our room to finish eating. The service was fine. Everyone else was able to check in but we had to wait 40+ to get our room although we had been there first. If you’re coming for the pool… save yourself money and go somewhere nicer.

The hospitality and friendliness of the whole team (manager, front desk staff, cleaning staff, shuttle drivers, etc) made my 2 months stay very comfortable. The location is great (close to the airport and not too far from downtown, restaurants and shopping). The beds are very comfortable, great a/c, complimentary washer and dryer, transportation service is great, did i say the staff is AWESOME :-). EVERYONE was very helpful, pleasant to work with and talk to; if there was ever an issue, it was handled with grace. They went above and beyond! I stayed at this location for 2 months and I enjoyed every moment. Justin and his staff were A+! Whenever I visit Salt Lake City, I will definitely stay at Sonesta again (leisure and business); I've also shared this location with family, friends, colleague, and employer. ~ K.D.

The environment is good, the old house and yard have a sense of age. It is located in the city center, with McDonald's, gas stations, small supermarkets, Starbucks in the hotel, and a small souvenir shop. The breakfast is American, with only a few varieties, the taste is good, but nothing special. The homemade cookies provided in the hotel lobby taste good, but they are gone soon after they are put out. The room is not big, clean and tidy, with bottled water, but the shower facilities are still average, and the bed is as ”soft” as always. I am not used to it, but almost all American hotels are like this. The temperature has been a little low these days, and there is a stove in the hotel lobby, which has a bit of a**osphere. The hotel front desk service is good, the hotel price is reasonable, and it feels cost-effective. Recommended!

Zion is a leisurely town. The style of this hotel is very popular among us. The room is very spacious and the height is very high. There is no feeling of depression. We will check it out for 3-4 days next time, so relax and relax here. You can also go hiking in the mountains and enjoy yourself.

In August 2024, our family stayed at the Hotel DeNovo. When we checked into our room, it was apparent that the room had recently been renovated. In fact renovations were still underway in the main building. After dinner we attempted to watch television. When we turned on the tv, it was obviously damaged. Since the room was so newly renovated, we speculated that the unit had been damaged during the renovation or installation and that we were among the first to stay in the room since the renovation. We called the front desk to let them know that the television was damaged. They offered to send maintenance, but in our experience that isn’t usually a fast process, so we said it wasn’t necessary. We were only staying for one night and didn’t want to be kept awake waiting for a repair. We thought we were being polite, understanding guests by alerting the hotel to the problem so they could fix it before the next guests checked in. When we got home from our trip we discovered an $800 charge on our credit card from Hotel DeNovo. A call with the hotel led us to Ben Cyr, who identified himself as the manager, even though he later admitted that he is actually the Director of Guest Relations. He was immediately hostile and started throwing around phases about the television being “smashed” and acted like there was shattered glass scattered around the room. This wasn’t the case at all. The damage we saw to the television was only obvious when the television was on. He made up more lies, saying we refused to allow maintenance into our room. He tried to intimidate us by saying that he would involve the hotel’s attorneys. He provided further alarming details, claiming that the maintenance manager was in our room right before we checked in and that he was back in our room while we were still on site “in our car” after checkout. This whole situation reeks of a set up. Why would they be watching our family and monitoring our every move? It sounds like they knew the television was damaged when we arrived and were just waiting for us to leave so we could be the suckers that they made pay for their renovation. This situation is distressing for a number of reasons. The Hotel DeNovo has charged our credit card for damage that we didn’t cause and now we are left in the situation of having to prove our innocence to get our money back. How are we expected to prove our innocence? We travel a lot and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. In fact, I have been a Diamond Hilton Honors member for over a decade. There are frequently problems in hotel rooms. There are scrapes on the walls, poorly done renovations, and, yes, televisions that don’t work. Hotel staff doesn’t accompany guests to the room upon check in to allow the guest to make a list of the issues to “prove” the state of the room upon check in. We stayed here while passing through to go home. We will definitely return when going to St. George again. We loved that they had the option of both pools and the kids loved the playground! Our room was large and spacious and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a latch lock on the top of the door, so my 2 year old kept trying to leave.

Very close to Giant Canyon. Hotel facilities are good, rooms are spacious and clean. Although I made an appointment for free parking, I was satisfied on the whole except that I charged $10 for parking and the sound insulation was not too good. The noise from the next room and the upper floors was continuously heard. Parking fee is eventually cancelled.

I am not sure if Cindy(?) is the manager but it was obvious that they were short handed. After spending three nights there we could tell how hard she worked, above and beyond any owner could possibly hope for. She was running the reception, breakfast and was even seen pitching in to help prep rooms. It seemed to us that she did whatever was necessary and she always had a smile to go along with her cheerful disposition. Last night she had been there almost all night because it was sold out and things had to be done. If management at this La Quinta doesn’t recognize what they have in this amazing employee they are very, very foolish. She is a rare gem! Oh yeah, hotel was good, it was clean, good mattresses, relatively new, very reasonable price and less than half hour from Zion entrance.

I stayed at Motel 6 in St George for over a week. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff I worked with, William and Steve, both went out of their way to make sure that I got the room I needed at the right price, and had all that I needed during my stay. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good inexpensive motel in St George.

The hotel is about 40 minutes drive from zion national park. You can drive around the park until about the evening and drive to the next day. It takes about 2 hours to get to Las Vegas the next day. Hotel facilities are relatively new, breakfast is simple, parking is convenient, can be used as a break point for Peggy to Las Vegas.

One of the most comfortable and clean hotels I have ever stayed at. The elderly host couple who received us were very nice, and the suite was fully equipped. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so you can buy some food to cook. 5 minutes drive from the entrance to Zion National Park. I will still choose this hotel next time I come.

Our room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. A light fixture was filthy from an apparent roof leak and no one thought to clean it. Primarily was shocked by the ignorance of the hotel staff. My wife has mobility issues and cannot negotiate stairs well. She wanted to go to the pool area, but was disappointed that the ONLY gate that did NOT have any steps was LOCKED! The pool has a lift for disabled people, but a disabled person cannot even get into the pool gated area since every other entrance has steps! I called the front desk and was told that they keep that gate locked because children go in and out of the gate and that disturbs other guests. Apparently children cannot get in and out of any of the other gates with stairs. Apparently other guests have priority over disabled guests! I told the front desk staffer that this was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and she told me that if a disabled person wanted to use the pool, all they had to do was ask for the gate to be unlocked. Asking for help like this is in itself a violation of the ADA! Under the Act, a disabled person must be allowed to use a facility just like anyone else, to the fullest extent possible, without essentially asking for permission or special treatment. I asked for the owners' contact information and was refused. If you have mobility issues, and want to use the pool at this hotel, I'd suggest finding another hotel. Such an insult to Americans with disabilities, including our veterans and others! Such ignorance!
