It's easy to find from the roundabout; there's parking right outside. The large table for six was just right. We ordered a few dishes, and the sour soup with sliced beef was really appetizing; I drank two bowls of soup. The ambiance wasn't particularly upscale, but the warm lighting made it very relaxing to chat. Before we knew it, two hours had passed. It's a great place for small gatherings with friends, the kind where you don't have to rush.
The lighting in this restaurant is warm and yellow, making photos look like they have a built-in filter, no color correction needed. The window seats offer river views; it must be quite atmospheric on a snowy day. It's suitable for three or four people; if there are more people, the tables need to be pushed together, which can be a bit inconvenient. It's recommended to book window seats in advance, otherwise they're almost impossible to get on weekends.
Their signature duck feet have a skin that's soft enough to melt in your mouth, yet still has a satisfying crunch. The slow-cooked broth is very flavorful and spicy, not the dry kind. Ordering the mild version is just right. The meat is completely deboned and has absolutely no fishy taste. Remember to order the sweet potato fries; dipping them in the broth makes them much more delicious than eating them alone. I recommend eating them with your hands, not chopsticks—it's too much effort.
