I've ordered fruit salad from other places before, and the ingredients were often not fresh. This place in Guomao, however, has a mango pomelo sago base for their fruit salad and taro balls. The fruit is sliced translucently, and the taro balls are chewy and bouncy; you can tell the ingredients were prepared that day. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try this kind of fruit salad. Don't go to those places that use leftover fruit just because they're cheap.
This shop has a cat you can pet, which is a nice bonus. The cat has a great personality and doesn't shy away from people, but it's best to avoid petting it during mealtimes, as it tends to hide when it's crowded. If you want to interact with it, go during afternoon tea time; it'll usually be lying on a chair next to the bar.
The group-buying coupons were definitely a good deal! The storefront itself is quite appealing. The small meat skewers and popcorn chicken are best eaten hot, freshly fried. For dessert, you could try the mango one.
