I was genuinely surprised when the late-season beef with bok choy was served—it was such a huge portion! The beef was tender, coated in sauce, and the bok choy was sweet and fresh. You could tell it was stir-fried over high heat, still carrying that sizzling, wok-fried aroma. Sitting by the window, slowly enjoying my meal was very pleasant.
This place has really good roasted chicken; a whole one is only 68 yuan, enough for three or four people. The skin is roasted to a crisp, and the meat isn't dry. I suggest you go early, as they might sell out if you go too late.
The stir-fried rice noodles with olives were good. The wok hei (wok aroma) was great, and the rice noodles were perfectly dry. The salty and savory olives were a highlight, and the accompanying chili sauce was very fragrant with just the right amount of spiciness.
