Every year when I come to Guo'en Temple, I must go to this farmhouse restaurant. This year, I will continue. The environment is very good, and you can see the large-scale fireworks display at night, which is awesome. Boss Liang's products are always good. The steamed chicken is the best chicken I have ever eaten. This time, I ordered the abalone slices fried with snow peas recommended by the boss, which tastes great too 👍🏻👍🏻

We went to Yunfu Xinxing Tourism and came to the Liuzu Hometown Tourism Resort. Behind the back garden of the hotel villa where we stayed, there was a small hill. At night, we looked up and saw a farmhouse restaurant on the hill. We drove over the next night. The way up the mountain is a bit difficult to find. Tourists who are not familiar with it will go around like us. You can go up the mountain from the road next to Guoen Temple all the way to the top of the mountain (the mountain is not high). There is a village there. You can see signs guiding you to walk in and go to the farm. The farm is the best place to watch the sunset. There is a floating platform. You can sit and drink tea and watch the sunset. The trees next to it are blooming. Some vegetables and fruits are ripe. The environment is quiet, but you must pay attention to mosquito prevention. {Boiled Chicken}, the chicken is not big, just right for the four of us. It is not free-range chicken, but caged, but the chicken is quite fresh, the chicken skin is relatively yellow, very refreshing, and the cooking temperature is just right. Just dip it in some sauce and eat it. {Beef offal stew}, recommended by the lady boss, tastes OK, but there are a little more beef lungs, and all the offal is cut into small pieces, I think it would taste better if it's a little bigger. The taste is very strong, quite tasty, and it's stewed well, with some colorful onions and green peppers, it's OK. {Braised fish head with bean curd skin}, the local bean curd skin in Xinxing is delicious, not easy to be overcooked, and tastes a little chewy, with a very fragrant bean flavor. The fish head is a little worse, it feels like there is no whole fish head, and the most slippery parts of the fish head seem to be missing, the overall taste is lighter. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the farm, and there are some small insects at night, so it's best to be prepared, you can ask the store to light mosquito coils under the table, but their mosquitoes are too bad, and they burned a cake in half a meal, and then it was over.

The duck meat was indeed fresh, cooked to order. The eel soup was a highlight; the broth was very flavorful, and it was gone within two minutes of arriving at our table. I recommend asking the server to bring this soup earlier if you order it, otherwise it will get cold by the time you've almost finished the main dishes.
