Air Force Museum of New Zealand Review

Air Force World is the New Zealand Air Force Museum, located between Wigram and Hornby in Christchurch, free of charge.

This is a very interesting place if you want to take your family out for a day. There is a nice cafe if you want to eat and refresh. You may only go once too. Not bad

It was a great experience for me and my partner. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by staff and volunteers. We then met with the tour group, but because the tour group was all made up of slow-moving elderly people, one of the tour guides came over and he proposed taking me and my partner on our own tour. Great customer service and care! He was very kind and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the trip he took. The language can't describe how great it was and how grateful we were! Thanks to the Air Force Museum of New Zealand!

There may be only one such large-scale theme “Air Force Museum” in New Zealand. Yes, it is located in a large building, two floors, spacious, with many physical displays of aircraft. By visiting different rooms and exhibitions, visitors will go deep into history. The exhibition includes the early New Zealand aviation pioneers, the New Zealand Air Force in the wartime including World Wars and other wars. The New Zealand Air Force's civil mission exhibition is not in the war scene, there is also a civil aviation passenger aircraft exhibition. There are also stories behind uniforms and men, with a lot of interesting history. There is a cafe and souvenir shop in the building. A good place to introduce the aircraft to children, from preschool children to teenagers, can learn new knowledge for adults. Free to visit but donations are encouraged and welcome.
