Aleppo Citadel Review

Don’t miss a trip to Aleppo if you visit Syria, it was the largest city in Syria before the war broke out. Unfortunately, the grand Mosque and the Bazaar are in ruin, but the citadel still reminded us the glory days. this formidable structure dominate the sky line, and it is a must visit destination when you visit the city .

It used to be a major point of traffic from the Mesopotamia Plain to the Mediterranean, and in the 16th century it became a must-have for trade between East and West. In ancient times, Abraham, the ancestor of the Jews, came to Aleppo and distributed milk from his cows to the local poor

很有历史意义的古城堡，保护得还算可以，开发还有待提高。

世界上最古老的的城堡说起叙利亚，其实这个国家也有非常美丽的建筑和文化。阿里波城堡就是其中最耀眼的一颗明星。我打车过来差不多12分钟就到了，这里仅在10:00-17:00开放，不需要门票，免费参观。我之所以会知道这座城堡是因为父母以前来这边旅游，我看到过照片，知道它本该是怎样的壮观，但是经过了战争的摧残，多多少少被损坏了一点，我怀着复杂的心情走了过去，最外面一些只剩下了土堆，非常荒凉。建造它需要几十年甚至几百年，可是摧毁它连一秒都不需要。我心中唏嘘。后面的部分保存地较为完善，也让我没那么难过了。土墙坚固精致，是典型的阿拉伯建筑风格，一条一条的石板路，好像迷宫似的。时不时还能碰上一两只晒太阳的小野猫。石块垒起来的城墙斑斑驳驳，许多地方已经生了杂草。城堡在小山上，从这里俯视，阿勒颇的美景一览无余。蓝天白云，车辆在地面通行，密密麻麻的建筑中有树木环绕，这一切看上去是那么美好。，城堡占地面积很大，我走了很久才浏览完，也有可能我在里面绕晕了迷路了。
