The ancient Roman Grand Theatre in Lyon, France, is on the hill of Fuvier. If you go down from the Cathedral of Fuvier, there is a staircase on the left hand side to go down. It is just at sunset in the evening. The sun is not enough to make the Grand Theatre more desolate. It is difficult to imagine that this Grand Theatre is in the 2nd century AD. The large theater, which has been built to accommodate 10,000 people, is still intact, and the whole structure is a bit like the Colosseum in Rome, but that is bigger and more powerful. The current site is free, but there is no light at night, it is scary, it is recommended to see it during the day.
