The National Museum of Cambodia was built in 1913. At present, the museum has handicrafts and sculpture artworks from the 1st century and the Angkor Dynasty. Several French photographers took pictures of Angkor. The museum is open-plan design, very beautiful and exotic. A small pavilion was built in the center, offering a statue of a god, surrounded by four artificial lotus ponds, with grass and benches, like a soundproof wall, blocking the hustle and bustle of the downtown outside the pavilion, allowing visitors to visit quietly.
