Anshun Covered Bridge is located next to Hejiang Pavilion at the intersection of Chengdu Fuhe and Nanhe River. It spans the Nanhe River. Anshun Bridge has a long history and the original architectural traces can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty. In Marco Polo's travels, Anshun Covered Bridge is one of the four bridges that impressed him. The Anshun Bridge was restored to its original appearance after several constructions in the early 21st century. It was not until 2000 that the Chengdu Funanhe Engineering Headquarters was redesigned and built. After three years of careful carving, the new Anshun Covered Bridge was unveiled on August 3, 2003.
