To reach Apo Island, one still needs to ride a Pumpboat from the main Negros Island to the Apo Island itself. The boat right fee depends on how many people will ride the boat. After probably 30-40 minutesof boat ride, you will then reach the island. It was my first time seeing a Pawikan, or Sea Turtles. The Sea Turtles in Apo Island are absolutely not afraid of people. They just move in the water never minding us. What is also great in Apo Island is the healthy Marine Biodiversity that they have. Snorkeling is permitted in the island if you have the proper equipment to do so, and also there is a need to hire a Snorkeling guide. We were able to witness the beautiful coral reefs of the island. It was such a sight to see. For our lunch, we ate some fresh fish and meat prepared by the residents for a fee. It was such a relaxing experience!



went snorkling here encountered turtles. was a very memorable experience when i went to dumaguete. was on a motor boat with other tourists. there was food served and cooked on the boat for everyone. i remember i ate sandwich there.
