The Ambi Plateau Ski Resort is located in Yasui-ping City, Iwate Prefecture. It is the most popular ski resort in the northeast of Japan. It is located on the 40-degree gold ski latitude line. It is connected by Yasui-ping National Park to the 1,305-meter-high Qiansen Mountain and the 1,328-meter-high Sisen Mountain.
