Asamushi Aquarium Review

The aquarium in Asakusa City, Aomori Prefecture, is small and fine, as long as you like, you can also take a full day at night! From Aomori City, take the train for 25 minutes, you can reach Asakusa Station, and then walk for five minutes to the aquarium. The signboard is not very obvious!

The shallow insect aquarium has two floors. On the first floor there are amphibian areas, tunnel sinks, warm sea biota, sea animals (seagulls, seals, etc.), cold sea animal areas, freshwater biota and local products stores. On the second floor, there is a tropical rainforest area, contact experience area, dolphinarium, etc. The museum is located in the hot springs, so there are always many tourists, as well as kindergarten and primary and secondary school students to visit here.
