Were in the Piazza le Cadorna around lunch time and decided to eat here based in the number of locals eating here. Both of selected the daily chefs special pasta dishes which were excellent. One dish was gnocchi with saffron and cream sauce and the other was penne in a sauce of proscuitto, taleggio and peas. Both were generous tasty and very reasonably priced. Made a pleasant tasty and quick lunch in a lively local atmosphere. Very enjoyable.



When I saw the nonsense prices for pizza at Malpensa, I was very glad to have picked up two slices of pizza and a slice of a 'chocolate sausage' from Binario 11 at Cadorna train station. The most expensive pizza slices I'd had anywhere, but as I said: better than the Eur 19 I saw for same-ish at the airport.

When we saw how many local people eat there, we decided to give it a try. And fortunately, we were right. Really great lunch with good (Italian cuisine) offer, quality service, nice surroundings and fair price. Decent place for lunch break during Milan sightseeing with true Italian atmosphere. At least, we had that kind of feeling.
