Churchill Hall (Belkenheim Palace) in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, was first built in 1705, when Queen Anne gave the Duke of Marlborough, John Churchill, to honor his outstanding battle against the French, taking 17 years to complete. More than 100 years later, the famous iron-fisted prime minister of England, Winston Churchill, was born here, and is commonly known as the Churchill Manor, known as one of the most exquisite and elegant baroque palaces in England.
