The Brecinos College of Oxford University was founded in 1509. Its name comes from a brass or bronze door handle that decorates the front door. In the mid-17th century, libraries and churches of a university were added, and restaurants were redecorated to accommodate the cellars below. In 2010, a major renovation project began, including the 15th century kitchen, which is now an additional dining space.
