Traveling to Tibet, this stop came to Nyingchi County, the driver was driving, suddenly pointed to the left to say to us, here is the Buddha palm sand dunes. It is located on the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, close to the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, and there is a pile of sand dunes that look like the palm of the Buddha and are named after the palm of the Buddha. This dune is located in the strong wind outlet in the middle and lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River. The wind is strong from the end of autumn to the end of spring. The river beds exposed by the dry water period before and after here have been blown and transported year after year and accumulated, forming a special landscape. It is second only to the Wollongong sand dunes.
