Pinello's home is in Seville, Spain, where the Seville Academy of Art is now located. This ancient building has two beautiful courtyards with Gothic and Mudhal halls and silversmith halls. The surrounding environment, Sylpis Street, used to be the location of the Royal Prison, where Don Quixote's author was once held, has gradually become a commercial street since the nineteenth century, and is now an important commercial street in Seville.
