Cementerio de Toconao Review

On the day trip " Piedra Rojas, Lagunas Altiplanicas y Salar", we passed the town and had lunch there. There is an interesting old church and tower, village square and local shops. The town is 38 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama (San Pedro de Atacama), at an altitude of 2,485 meters. The church tower was built in 1750. Locals here are involved in mining, fruit growing and craft work. If you are interested in archaeology or you are just crossing, it is worth a visit.
