Built in the 19th century, Wofo Temple combines the architectural styles of China, Thailand and Myanmar. It is gorgeous and exquisite. Inside the temple is a 33-meter-long reclining Buddha statue, ranking the third largest in the world, after the great Buddhas of Myanmar and Thailand. The eyes and toenails of the reclining Buddha are inlaimed with shells, and the Buddha's body is revenged with gold foil, which is dignified in gold and green. Behind the reclining Buddha statue are 12 statues representing the meaning of the 12 zodiac signs, and some spiritual bones. The colourful Double Dragon Guard in front of the door is very eye-catching. You can also see the Bodhisattva sitting on the seven-headed snake.

The architecture of the Reclining Buddha Temple is a combination of Chinese, Thai and Burmese styles, gorgeous and well-carved. At the entrance of the temple there is a South Asian water dragon, but the export is a Chinese dragon, and the two Asian styles are harmoniously blended.
