We live in Country Garden Hotel on the east side of Chaohu by car. The hotel is near the lake, but the smog visibility is not high these days. On the north side of Chaohu Lake is a beautiful lakeside avenue connecting Chaohu Lake and Hefei. We follow the lakeside avenue all the way to the lakeside forest park on the west side of Chaohu Lake. There is a parking area along the way to park for the lake view.
