Chengdu Cultural Park is located on Qintai Road, Chengdu, west of Guanghua Avenue, Qingyang District, and on the border of Chengdu with Wenjiang River. It covers an area of about 1700 mu and has a volume of 200,000 square meters. It was rebuilt on the former site of Erxianyu in 1951 and covers an area of 150 mu. The Cultural Park is a comprehensive park with a variety of cultural activities. The park has a variety of flowers, bonsai and exotic trees. The Chengdu Light Festival and Chengdu Flower Festival are held every year. During the lantern fair and flower fair, colorful literary performances, calligraphy and painting photography exhibitions and local snacks are also held.
