Chongwu Ancient City is located on the southeast seaside of Hui'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is close to the Taiwan Strait. It was built in 1387 (Minghongwu 20 years) when Jiang Xiahou Zhou Dexing was built to resist the flood. It is the most complete T-shaped stone ancient city in China. It is the Ming government to fight the flood. One of the more than 60 sanitary castles built in Wanli Haijiang is still well preserved. Chongwu Ancient City, Jingfeng Liancheng Acropolis and Jingfeng Temple (3A-level scenic spot) are the first batch of key county-level cultural relics protection units announced by the Hui'an County Ge Committee in 1979.
