Chicago City Hall is home to the Chicago City Council and Cook County offices. It is surrounded by Randolph Street, La Salle Street, Washington Street and Clark Street. It is 11 floors high and has a classical revival style. It was put into use in 1911. The entrance to Chicago City Hall is lined with four granite reliefs representing four major issues of concern to the city: sports fields, schools, parks and water supply. A rooftop garden was established in 2001 and opened to the public in the summer.
