Comptoir des Galeries Review

The decoration style is a bit baroque, the location is very good, the business is very good, I feel that there are many locals, the dishes are OK, the taste is good, the selling is a little worse, overall give a 75 points.

Perfect evening, all staff friendly and food excellent! They even changed one course on the menu due to allergies. Only thing deducting half star is bright atmosphere, which to some could also be 5/5

The food was excellent as was the service and choice of wines.It was a lovely, bright and airy room that was very conducive for conversation. The collection of Sonia Delauney prints were an unexpected and beautiful surprise. We will definitely return with our next visit to Brussels.

Disappointed to find that 30% of the main courses in the menu promoted were not available. Settled for a mediocre beef tartare. Service-wise it was ok, even if we were given soup without spoons and gluten-free bread for one celiac guest took very long time to serve.

The mushroom jus with the meat was too liquid and not that great of taste. For 38 euros you would expect some decent sauce. No mayo with the french fries and took really long to renew the drinks. Carpaccio was delicious tough. Staff was superfriendly too
