Cool Beans & Baguettes Review

Food is simple but healthy, so it's very popular. On weekends, there are many families coming.

With celiac disease I struggle to find gluten free option in the top end of Brisbane, I've now had a great Gluten Free Foccacia from and will be back to try the few GF salads and baked goods I spotted. A good option for gluten free lunch in Brisbane.

This is a regular coffee meeting place for us. The staff are always really friendly and the coffee is good. They also have a good selection of sandwiches and salads, pastries and muffins.

Nice feel to this cafe, has a reasonable amount of seating and good fast food options (fruit salads, pastries etc). Staff are very friendly and service is quick. The appear to use fair trade coffee and I think I spotted an organic option but I am unsure. Only problem is the coffee. The entire milk stock is out of the fridge (24 plus 2 litre bottles) so its temperature for silking is suspect, no thermometer is used in frothing/silking so the end result is a coffee with the temperature being a bit cold and the coffee itself being a touch too bitter. As a flat white the milk was a bit too flat as well. In the end the coffee is just average, which is a pity.
