The temple is located in the central and western district of Tainan City, the main Taoist temple of the Mazu. The temple was formerly the Ningjing Wang Zhu Shugui in the Ming Dynasty. In 1683, Taiwan entered the Qing Dynasty, and then converted the palace into the Temple of the Mazu. It is the first official temple of the Mazu in Taiwan. The most special of the temple is a lifelike and large-scale Mazu statue. In addition, the palace of the Great Tianhou has a very rich historical relics, and it is like being in the art hall. It is exquisite and breathtaking.
