Dahuoquan Park is located in Xindu District, Xingtai City, covering an area of 1030 mu. It is a large comprehensive park integrating culture, leisure, entertainment and fitness. It is one of the large urban parks in North China and the only provincial five-star park in Xingtai City. It is one of the famous eight scenery of Xingtai.[1] Historically, Xingtai was once a rare Daquan area in northern China, where water surged and manna overflowed, forming a natural wonder of "all springs around the ring." Among them, the most famous spring is Dahuoquan, during the Xianping period of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhangzhou Assassin Liu Kaixuan built a pavilion and planted willow, so that it became a county victory, and then opened a park in Dahuoquan. The whole park is dominated by corridors, pavilions, bridges, tai, pavilions and buildings in the style of classical garden architecture. From the south gate of the park as the starting point, through the pool fountain that reflects the prominent contribution of Yuan Dynasty scientist Guo Shoujing in water conservancy, arrive at the "Star Square" in front of the bronze statue of Guo Shoujing, and then cross the stargazing platform to the Guo Shoujing Memorial Hall. The east side of the memorial hall reflects Guo Shoujing's contribution to the astronomical aspects of the winter and summer constellation map science park, and the west side has Guo Shoujing Zijin Mountain named after Guo Shoujing Zijin Mountain for a history of learning. The water activities area is centered on artificial lakes. The park has waterfalls, Dudiaozhou, cruise ship terminals and various pavilions. The plant ornamental area is redesigned using the original plant scenic spots and nurseries, including forest baths, sun lawns, peony gardens, and Nanguo gardens.
