Dalian Han Tomb Museum is located in Shagang Village, Yingchengzi Street, Ganjingzi District, Lushun North Road. During the two Han Dynasty, Dalian belonged to Yuan's County and Wen County in Liaodong County. Under the centralized rule of the Han Dynasty regime, the political, economic and cultural development of the Central Plains region has been unprecedented. After archaeological discovery, Dalian area is distributed in a large number of tombs of the two Han Dynasty. In particular, a large number of tombs of different shapes such as shell tombs and brick tombs in the two Han periods were found in the Yingchengzi area, and thousands of cultural relics were unearthed. In the 1930s, the Japanese conducted archaeological excavations in the Yingchengzi area, and the tombs of the Yingchengzi murals were excavated at that time. After the founding of New China, in the 1950s, four or fifty tombs such as shell tombs in the West Han Dynasty were excavated. From the 1960s to the late 1990s, archaeologists found dozens of Han tombs one after another, and in 2003 a large-scale rescue archaeological excavation was carried out. Up to now, 210 tombs of various types of different shapes have been excavated in the two Han Dynasty, which is roughly from the period from the West Han to the East Han Dynasty from 2000 to 1700. More than 4,000 cultural relics have been unearthed, including pottery, bronze, iron, jade and so on. One of the exquisite gold ten dragon buckles is especially precious. The scale of the tomb mass is very large, and the unity of the characteristics of the tomb form, burial customs and unearthed cultural relics is rare in China. In 2008, the municipal government established the Dalian Han Tomb Museum at the original site of a single-room tomb in Yingcheng Zihan Tomb. Dalian Han Tomb Museum is the main body of the two Han tombs in Dalian area, through the original site of the Han tomb and the unearthed cultural relics, display the historical overview of Dalian area in the Han Dynasty.
