Amsterdam, Europe's second water city, known as "Venice of the North"! There are water and land roads here, you can go anywhere through the developed waterways, the dam square is the center point of linking each waterway!

The dam square was originally built in the late 12th century. The north of a dam square on the Amstow River is the current old town. The houses in this area used to be a family store, which was very lively. There was also a celebrity here, the inventor of the telescope.
Located in the central part of Amsterdam where in several cafeteria, restaurants and shops are found along the way. a beautiful scene and very relaxing place.

Dam Square is the beating heart of Amsterdam, brimming with history, culture, and entertainment. The iconic square boasts striking landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the National Monument, and the bustling shopping street, Kalverstraat. It's a hub for events, protests, and public gatherings. Whether you're admiring the architecture or soaking up the atmosphere at a sidewalk café, Dam Square is an essential stop for any Amsterdam visitor.

4/5Excellent
the only real square in Amsterdam. it’s beautiful but unfortunately the surrounding shops and restaurant appear to cater to tourist, I didn’t find the area particularly pleasant to be honest, especially the shopping street. I would recommend instead to walk behind the palace to Magna Plaza and the canal belt right behind it.
