At first I thought it was the place where the change of Xuanwumen of Li Shimin occurred. Later I learned that it was the Xuanwumen of Taiji Palace in Chang'an City, not the Xuanwumen of this Daming Palace. From the Daming Palace Ruins Park, I walked north to here. The original site was only the remaining earthen wall, but later on both sides of the earthen wall was repaired, according to the relics of archaeological excavations, and some repairs and new construction were made, forming a Xuanwumen Square. The square is a bit empty, with the city walls and gate sites at both ends and the low walls on both sides forming a city, which seems to be an ancient schoolyard feeling in the middle. There is also a huge city gate with open imitation bronze. On one side of the gate is the traditional style with door rings and rivets, on the other side is the shape of characters, horses, and pavilions. It feels a bit strange to see these in the empty square at night.
