Been here many times in the last few years, great consistent quality. Excellent meat quality, cooked to perfection. From normal sizes up to 530 g burgers. If you're around try it!

    5/5Outstanding

I have travelled quite a lot and sampled all sorts of kosher burgers, including the most popular ones in NYC and LA, but Denzel still remain my favourite, no contest. You can decide the weight and composition as well as choose from an array of enviable toppings, but whatever you choose the result is still amazing. The intimate family-run style of service makes into an even nicer experience and you leave counting the days to your next visit

    4/5Excellent

I had written a negative review a few years back but now much revise the review. Denzel offers delicious Kosher food. I want to go back as there seem to be so many great menu options. Service is fast and courteous. One negative for me is that the place is narrow and seating is crowded as a result. Tables and chairs are very close together so the place is suitable for a quick (and very tasty meal).

    4/5Excellent

In the middle of Milan on Washington Avenue is a Kosher restaurant called Denzel. It is a Gourmet Burger restaurant with about 15 or so tables. Décor is pretty smart. We (a colleague and me) arrived at almost 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon and went to the downstairs section that was empty of customers. We pulled up a chair and opened the menu (his in Italian, mine in English). As he had eaten here before, he said that the specialties are the Burgers….be they beef, lamb or mixed. We ordered chips and, as I was hungry, I ordered the biggest burger on the menu….the phenomenally large 550gram Denzel burger. The waiter said that if I finish it, I get a special T-shirt. In order to make things a little tougher, I added a "topping" to the burger of strips of Carpaccio and a fried egg. I also said that I want it in a bun and with salad. We also ordered a local beer to drink with the meal. The Beer arrived within a minute or 2. The real hand-made fries, had the appearance of potato chips but were hot. After about 15 minutes or so, the burgers arrived. My colleague had ordered a medium size spicy lamb burger with the Carpaccio and Fried egg topping. For me, the biggest lump of meat that I have ever seen, balancing on half a bun, was placed in front of me. On the top was the carpaccio strips of smoked meat and a perfect fried egg laid on top. The other half of the bun had lettuce, pickles and tomato pieces placed properly on it. Little dishes of ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard were placed in the center of the table. We tucked in to the food and it was very tasty. The meat was well done on the outside of the burger but medium rare on the inside. The flavor was great, not spicy or filled with herbs or the like, but rather natural. Within about 10 minutes, it was no more. I had cleared the plate and was polishing off the last of the chips and washing it down with my beer. We got the bill, they brought me a "keep calm and eat a Denzel Burger T-Shirt", and we subsequently paid and left
