We stayed 3 nights in Las Galeras and heard that El Cabito is a must go place. We had a car and drove up there half way when we decided to park the car at the beach and walk the other half. Walking up there was fine. Glad I didn't try with the car we had. So if you go by car, make sure it's a good one best 4x4. Or walk but be carful. * The restaurant is located at the edge of a cliff. Gorgeous. The view is stunning. We even were lucky and could see some whales. The sunset from there is stunning. The area is super nice and well maintained. Goats and dogs running around. Not at the dinning area! The staff is really friendly. We ordered a starter cheese and ham platter. For 4 people. Was awesome. Main course was good but not wow. Octopus was extremely chewy the rest of the mains were good. You just can pay in Cash. I would recommend to pay in Dominican Pesos. The place is awesome. The food is ok. But absolutely worth to visit. Now back to the * We walked back in the darkness. Don't expect any light. We had our cellphones with a flash light. We were lucky because after we reached our car a big tarantula crossed our way. Have fun. ;-)
