Enmeiji Review

A temple with a long history, the surrounding environment is very good, and there are many pilgrims.

Enmeiji Temple was opened in 1982 and is the site of Kozukahara Gyojo, one of the three major prisons in Edo. In the Edo period, as many as 200,000 people, including false charges, were executed, and Jizo was cut off as a prayer. The burial method was also terrible, and only dug shallowly and covered the soil, so it seemed that the animal with a dead smell came to reveal the grave and it looked quite terrible. It is said that a large amount of remains were excavated due to the construction of the railway.

The temple is one of the seven blessed gods of Wuyiye, and worships the Shamen Tian, the Shouxing Gong, and the Buddha of the Master of Fuxuan and Wisdom.
