Famen Temple, also known as "True Body Pagoda", is located in Baoji City, the hometown of bronze wares, the hometown of Emperor Yan. It was named "the Ninth Wonder of the world" by UNESCO in 2004. (1) National key cultural relics protection unit. According to legend, it was built in the eleventh year of the Ming Emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty (68 A.D.). It has a history of about 1700 years. It is known as the ancestor of Guanzhong Pagoda Temple. It used to be called "Ayuwang Temple" in the Zhou and Wei Dynasties, changed its name to "Chengshidaochang" in the Sui Dynasty, and changed its name to "Famen Temple" in the Tang Gaozu Famen Temple, known as the Royal temple, has become a sacred place of Buddhism that the whole country looks up to because of the placement of Sakyamuni Buddha's finger bones and relics. Famen Temple Buddhist Pagoda is known as "Protecting the Nation and True Body Pagoda". The cultural scenic spot of Famen Temple where the temple is located is the national AAAAA level tourist attraction. The underground palace of Famen Temple is the largest underground palace under the tower seen so far. The underground palace of Famen Temple in Baoji unearthed Buddhist supreme treasures such as Sakyamuni Buddha's phalangeal bones, copper float slaughter, eight-fold treasure letters, silver double-wheel twelve-ring tin stick, etc. The treasure hall of Famen Temple has more than 2,000 pieces of Tang State treasures unearthed in the underground palace of Famen Temple, which is the largest in the world temples. (2) On October 16, 2014, the 27th World Buddhist Fellowship was held at Famen Temple in Baoji.
