Famen Temple, located in Fufeng County, Baoji City, was built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, and later became a royal temple in the Tang Dynasty. It became a Buddhist holy place because of the storage of the finger bones of Buddha Sakyamuni. The present Famen Temple is divided into two parts, one is the original Famen Temple and treasure house, and the other is the newly built cultural scenic spot. The Heshi Shrine Pagoda, which is stored in the cultural scenic spot, is open on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, weekends and major holidays. The newly built cultural scenic spot has a great momentum. The broad Buddha's Light Avenue is about one kilometer long. It contrasts with the original Famen Monastery and is also controversial.
