Fjell Fortress Review

A local quick bus ride from the Bryggen seafront. The signage from the bus stop to the entrance to the museum could be better and in our case it took a few attempts. We were lucky to get into the final day of the season with half price tickets. The museum is beautifully set and has a water view. All houses are rebuilt from old Bergen. It is beautiful outside and the interior is not always as interesting as the sometimes sparse furniture, but this museum is not about static exhibitions. We enjoyed the actors' performances outside the square and one of the houses. We could figure out the outcome of the action. The small streets and cobbled alleys were beautiful and gave a feeling of old Bergen. It was an interesting afternoon because it was the last day and we had free coffee.
