英文名叫Fort Point，也有翻译叫尖兵堡（角）。其坐落在金门大桥的南部桥底，正好是旧金山湾的入口处。1862年正式建成现在的样子，现在做为免费博物馆开放参观。因为这里停车不收费，而且可以远观金门大桥的全部（虽然是从下往上），所以自驾游来这是不错的。不过这里无法登上金门大桥，虽然在桥下，但到登桥的金门公园只能开车去，走路是比较远的。金门公园停车收费比较高，可以按实际情况选择。这里可以近观海湾，能看到很多冲浪爱好者。进入要塞还能了解当地当时的一些历史风貌，还是不错的选择。

福特·波因特国家历史古迹是一个不错的地标建筑，我认为是很值得去的，纪念馆里面的内容挺有趣，找到公车站，跟团游的最后一个项目，因为来之前在网上查了很多，本以为很无聊，结果比想象中的好。

碉堡角是观赏旧金山大桥的最佳地方，望着旧金山大桥的整座建筑很写意。这里让旅客们聚集拍摄美景和观赏海滩，喜爱冲浪的爱好者在这里享受刺激的冲浪。

碉堡角是欣赏金门大桥非常佳的地方的，不过这里对于多数游客可能知名度不是很高的，角度非常的好的，拍照效果一流的，所以在碉堡角可以看到不少带专业拍照相机的过来拍照的
